#3 of 754 Speciality lodging in Kochi (Cochin)
For centuries, Kochi has managed to lure travelers and traders alike. So enticed were everyone those landed on its ports, be it the British, the Dutch, or the French, that they never wanted to go back. This allure is what resulted into the unbelievable blend of the village with a Portuguese, dutch, and french feel to it and the malabar coast added the required spice to the mixture. The home is where the heart is. That is why, we have built our home in Fort Kochi, the town brimming with history. Anywhere you look, you will find a Portuguese house, an ancient mosque, or some remnants of the British era. Zostel Kochi is located in Fort Kochi and reflects the spirit of the historical city. If you are looking to escape from the hustle and are in the search for a quaint hostel, you are at the right place. Equipped with a female dorm, several mixed dorms, and private rooms, Zostel Kochi has something to offer for everyone, including a small cafe inside the hostel.

Hey dear traveller, I went to Zostel kochi during my initial days of backpacking and I had absolutely amazing experience with Zostel fort kochi and the hosts are really amazing people, the ambience and other stuffs in the property are really cool for the backpackers. The best thing I felt is card games and rooftop is a really nice space to chill-out. If you love exploring some historical places and some amazing art cafe's that depicts the ancient culture and tradition of kochi, the Zostel kochi will be a great place to be. There are a lots of places to explore in kochi and close to kochi. I highly recommend Zostel kochi for the people planning to make a destination in kochi. Thank you so much renel and naijeen for the wonderful experience in fort kochi.

I mostly want to emphasize that this hostel knows a driver (name Sanju) and they can give you his contact details so that you arrange a deal with him and he can drive you anywhere in Kerala. He was extremely nice, funny, street smart, can give you more and better info than a tour guide and me and my friend had a great time because of him! I can't praise him enough! The hostel: good value for money, very nice building, good location.
