Shangri-La in Bengaluru is situated pretty much in the city center, close to many local attractions. The hotel is tastefully done with contemporary styling. A nice weekend staycation is what we wanted and that’s exactly what shangrila gave us. We had booked the premier suite which had excellent space and classy interior. We noticed some wear and tear of the couch and other furniture In the living room but overall the room was tidy. The TVs in the room were good 55inches but had no streaming/ smart TV connectivity. We had got our own Amazon firestick just in case which we could setup by ourselves without any trouble. The bed was great with just the right balance of softness. Our room included lounge access where we were served afternoon tea and evening cocktails and canapés. The food options were excellent and pretty much everything tasted great. In the terms of taste this lounge impressed us more than many we have tried at other hotels in the city. The only other hotel lounge which comes close to it is Sheraton grand in whitefield. The breakfast as well was immaculate with plenty of options. The spa was fantastic with a beautiful jacuzzi, steam and sauna rooms which were complimentary for in house guests.
Regarding the hospitality, I must say though everyone we encountered were polite and welcoming they were not very informative about the property and its facilities. Upon checkin we were just handed our room keys without any information on what our booking/ room included for example the lounge benefits which we had to cross check later for the same.
Also the property does not have business center or a work station if you would want to get some quick work done. Overall we had a near perfect stay at the property and would love to go back soon.

Loved this hotel! At walking distance to the Palace its position couldn't be better; the rooms are roomy and with good bathrooms and lovely outlooks; and the staff are exceptional. From the front desk and consierge to the waiting staff and room servicing, nothing is too much trouble. A special thank you to Veeru, who obligingly kept our room spotless and well stocked, and to Shikha in the Horizon Lounge, who kept us well supplied with snacks and local news. Thank you All, for turning a routine city stay into one which was out of the ordinary.

I feel that Shangri La is one of the best hotels in Bangalore. As soon as you enter, you feel calmer as soft lights shimmer over the water fountains. The staff is very welcoming and the interior is artistic, clean and modern. The spa (Chi) is very relaxing. The word “Chi” itself is derived from Tibetan and means ‘a calm, balanced and relaxed inner state”. The spa certainly reflects!

Our stay was satisfactory, and Ashutosh provided commendable assistance at the front desk. However, our experience at the horizon lounge was underwhelming, despite the manager's earnest efforts. We encountered the need to repeat ourselves multiple times, and attendant seemed confused during breakfast. Additionally, there was a lack of napkins on our breakfast table in the lounge. On a positive note, our time at the pool was enjoyable, thanks to the exceptional service provided by the attendant. Departure was delayed as the discounts were not applied correctly, necessitating a reminder for the bill to be rectified. The suite and overall housekeeping were of a high standard, although it was surprising that wine was not included as a suite amenity, as it is typically expected in luxury hotels.

This was my first visit to Bangalore, and staying at Shangri-La was undoubtedly one of the best decisions I made. The hotel’s central location made it incredibly convenient to explore the city.
One of the highlights of my stay was discovering the hotel’s in-house tuk-tuk service. When Duty Manager Pranav told me about it, I was genuinely surprised and impressed. It’s such a thoughtful touch that adds an authentic local flavor to the experience, something I’ve never seen even at other leading brands like Taj or Oberoi.
A special mention to Mr. Pranav and Mr. Wilson, who went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. They provided excellent local recommendations that truly enriched my visit. Their warmth and professionalism make them absolute gems in the lobby and a credit to Shangri-La Bengaluru.

Stayed at Hotel Shangri La, Bengaluru recently. Room on the 17th floor with the panoramic view and club access was truly exceptional. Very well maintained and a great location makes this one of my favorite hotels in Bengaluru. Buffet breakfast is excellent. Many top rated restaurants on site. Close to popular attractions in the city and many shopping areas makes it a convenient place to stay at. Housekeeping staff always doing their best was much appreciated. Shout out to Bishaka from Hospitality, for being so thoughtful. Front desk staff were helpful but a friendly demeanor could make this experience even better!

Shangri La hotel on Palace road is centrally located in Bangalore equidistant in terms of time to travel to airport as well as the IT parks.
The hotel is well maintained as required for a 5 star hotel. The room was fairly large and spacious with a King bed, study desk, seating area and a large bathroom with seperatre shower area, toilet area and bathtub .The breakfast spread was very large with lots of choices including live counters and the taste was very good. The service was also good. Would recommend the hotel for short visits.

I’m not one to write reviews but I feel compelled to do so for the Shangri-la hotel.
My husband and I had the unusual experience of staying at the Shangri-la for 18 days, so we got to know the extraordinary staff and facilities well and I can’t recommend the hotel strongly enough.
The rooms are lovely and the hotel is very well located. The pool, spa, and gym are top notch. Hats off to Jazzy Nepram, the director, who arranged yoga classes and other activities for us.
The b cafe restaurant off the lobby had surprisingly excellent food: they offered a wide selection of dishes and also specials, e.g. on Friday they roasted fresh fish of your choice. Incredibly good. Hats off to:
Prabhat Ranjan who made this happen. He is a gem.
Other staff too: Atashi, Rabin, Sarabjeet, Parvez, Ranjan
Hats off also to Pankaj Kumar the chef as Ssaffron restaurant and staff, Ratan Kamaran and Arvind Ranjeed: he set up a cooking class for us (₹3,000 for a three hour class, including the 6 dishes we made). The most extraordinary experience we had during our stay.
Finally, the view at the rooftop bar, Hype, and the superb staff, especially for happy hour and sunset were special. Thanks to Leo who greeted us at the door, the tea service — and so many others who went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable.

The rooms are lovely and the hotel is very well located. The pool, spa, and gym are top notch. Hats off to Jazzy Nepram, the director, who arranged yoga classes and other activities for us.
The b cafe restaurant off the lobby had surprisingly excellent food: they offered a wide selection of dishes and also specials, e.g. on Friday they roasted fresh fish of your choice. Incredibly good. Hats off to:
Prabhat Ranjan who made this happen. He is a gem.
Other staff too: Atashi, Rabin, Sarabjeet, Parvez, Ranjan
Hats off also to Pankaj Kumar the chef as Ssaffron restaurant and staff, Ratan Kamaran and Arvind Ranjeed: he set up a cooking class for us (₹3,000 for a three hour class, including the 6 dishes we made). The most extraordinary experience we had during our stay.
Finally, the view at the rooftop bar, Hype, and the superb staff, especially for happy hour and sunset were special. Thanks to Leo who greeted us at the door, the tea service — and so many others who went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable.

From the moment you arrive to the time you leave, the service and quality of everything is second to none. As a result of this stay I will definitely seek out Shangri-La properties in the future. The buffet breakfast was one of the best I have ever experienced, and it is worth going for a club floor room for the small additional price. The food at any of the restaurants is phenomenal and the rooftop bar is a great place to spend an evening with friends. Highly recommend.

I can let you know there is a international cuisine (b Cafe), Italian restaurant (Caprese), Indian restaurant (Saffron), Skybar (Hype), Japanese restaurant (Yataii), Shangri-La signature Chinese restaurant (Shang Palace). You may also approach Ms Rin in Shang Palace for dish recommendations. Hope this helps.

No its not open due to covid-19 guidelines and restrictions.
I believe Masjid E Khadria on Millers Road in Benson Town is closest, about 3 to 4 km (?). The hotel concierge can arrange transport and assist with other details.
Hype on Level 19 is your best bet for a lively night venue. Stunning views of the city from the rooftop. They had DJ music one evening when I was there, but I do not know if it's a regular gig.
