One of Bangalore s oldest places that still retains its old world charm. Food is delicious. Their Dosa, Idli, Wads are all fantastic. Ordered the Obattu and it was very good. Service is very efficient. This is a must visit place

The restaurant still maintains it's old looks. It serves decent dosas, idli, vada, rava idli and kesari bath. I have been having food at this place for ~30 years and have seen the quality dip. However, the place is still good enough for breakfast and evening snacks.

New Modren Hotel has a dine out place too and its a authentic south Indian breakfast and lunch at a reasonable price. Watch for the crowd, it will be crowded most of the time. it was also listed and reviewed in Rocky and Mayur's show- Highway on my Plate.

Traditional food n taste.. Retains old Bengaluru charm. Yet to try dosa, idli and other tiffin items. Lunch/ meal was good..reasonable fare..frequented by young and old alike..More of yesteryear folks to remain connected with those good old years.. Great place.. Must visit.. Do not expect luxury seating etc. Good hospitality.. Recommended by my colleague SR Prakash..

Located in South Bangalore on AN Krishna Rao Road near what was formerly known as Minerva circle, this is frequented by the old faithfuls who enjoy the taste of the food and snacks served here.

Regular visitor. Peni with badam milk, dip iddly, set dosa and mini coffee. Trust me, you will understand the quality and freshness only when you eat here. Closed on Thursday. This is the place to meet after the morning walk at Lal Bagh.
