We have been travelling into th Raki Raki Area for many years staying at the resort next door having never visited Voli Voli thinking it was more of a back packers place well how stupid of us it is not although we did fly over it in Jan in a seaplane just before Winston and it looked great. On our...

My partner and I visited Volivoli as part of an organised dive trip with our regular diving group. The resort had been - as had the rest of the island - badly affected by Cyclone Winston. But that didn't affect our holiday - nor did it seem to dampen the spirits of the locals! Firstly, the diving was truly spectacular....

Bula Victoria, Thank you very much for your kind review of Volivoli Beach Resort and Ra Divers. We were very badly affected by TC Winston however it takes more than a Severe Tropical Cyclone with wind speeds in excess of 350km/ph to keep us down :) The Diving has been fantastic since the storm which were obviously concerned about, it...

We had booked Volivoli Beach resort for a week-Iong dive trip, however, it was destroyed by cyclone Winston only a few weeks before we were set to arrive (Apr 9-16, 2016). I am writing this review for the resort staff and the dive shop, Ra Divers. First, they acted as quickly as possible to contact us about the loss of...

I didn't actually get to stay at Volivoli (as originally planned) as the resort isn't yet open following Cyclone Winston but I did do a liveaboard cruise on the Fiji Siren which departs from Volivoli. I was refunded my original Volivoli booking without hassle following the disastrous events of Winston. The email 'apologising for the inconvenience' of being unable to...

Volivoli Beach Resort has a fantastic location for both seclusion and scuba diving. Here we were well away from the hustle and bustle of any city, yet at the same time, we had everything we needed right there at the resort. Accommodations are very modern, something you might not expect from a resort in Fiji. I was very impressed with...

I had to give another review to re-look at my previous comment. It had been a hard time for the resort and only they would know what they went through during the cyclone. After getting in touch it has made me realise how badly hit the resort was. I still am very much interested in spending time at Volivoli. I...

We tried contacting the hotel but could not get hold of anyone so we had to find alternate accommodation. We would have been grateful if the hotel had sent some form of notice as to what the situation was since we had booked and paid for the accommodation.

Bula Vinaka, Thank you very much for your review. I would also have been grateful if the resort had not received a direct hit from the most sever Cat 5 Tropical Cyclone to EVER make landfall in the Southern Hemisphere! The eye wall passed directly over head with winds in excess of 350km/ph which surprisingly took out the power, water,...

We were there when TC Winston went through and destroyed Volivoli. The two days following the catastrophe showed the true nature of not only the owners, but the loving staff. No one complained, everyone kept their head, and it showed why people keep coming back to Fiji over and over. Before the storm the resort was well laid out, Food...
