Bula bula Wow!!! We stayed at the Naveria Heights Lodge for 3 night and we wish we would have stay longer. What a fantastic experience! The Lodge in on a hill over looking the Pacific ocean and the town of Savusavu, the view is spectacular. We stayed in the Queen room which was extremely comfortable, clean, ceiling fan and AC, very high quality linen bed sheet, conforter and towells.
Awesome plunge pool with a spacious deck that comes around to a relaxing area to enjoy your healthy breakfast, have romantic moments or even catch up on your computer work or meditate.
Amazing Sharon is very attentive to her guests' needs and so knowledgeable about the medicine of the land and nutrition. We love Sharon and Micheal who took us on adventure tours, he is fun and so knowledgeable.
Restaurants near by walking distance of 20 minutes. The gravel road to get up the hill is steep and we walked it up and down 3 times per day, great work out. You have an option to take a 4X4 transportation to go up and down for a small fee.
This was a trip of a lifetime, we will be back soon.
Grateful for it all, thank you Sharon and Micheal and the Fijian team!!!
Vinaka Vakalevu, Sota tale !

The perfect stay in the most beautiful setting. From the moment I arrived at the lodge it was like a dream. The design of the lodge was gorgeous and the staff and facilities were unmatched for Fiji. Stunning views from the rooms with the shower/drinking water being 100% rain water which was pretty special. The dining area and the food itself was also incredible, with Sharon the owner being a nutritionist! Not only that she was also a fabulous person.

The tours arranged by the lodge were so much fun and the reliable, wonderful driver/tour guide Michael made it very entertaining.

I would highly recommend staying here to anyone. It was by far my favourite place to stay in Fiji. Its home like charm and aesthetics made it 5* for me.

Naveria Heights Lodge is a true gem nestled atop a hill, offering breathtaking views of Savusavu Bay. Our stay here was nothing short of magical. Sharon Wild, the host, was not just lovely but incredibly helpful, ensuring our comfort as we needed to run around town to do some errands.

Peter and Anne, the caretakers, were delightful. They not only prepared delicious cooked breakfasts and dinners but also went out of their way to make us feel at home. The meals were a highlight, showcasing local flavors and ingredients.

The lodge itself is a haven of tranquility, with well-appointed rooms that offer both comfort and stunning vistas. Waking up to the sunrise over the bay is an experience we won't forget.

We highly recommend Naveria Heights Lodge to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with a touch of Fijian hospitality. We can't wait to return!

Time to leave and we simply don’t want to. Superb hospitality staff, lovely details everywhere, everything done to make us feel special. The location, high above the bay has a welcoming breeze and sweeping view of the bay and island. There is a steep hill down to the air road but if you don’t want to trek it.. you don’t have to… ask for a ride. I’d give this sweet place 10 stars and we’ve travelled all over the world. Suited us perfectly.

I've been home now for just over a week from my wonderful stay at Naveria Lodge and am feeling healthier, relaxed and rejuvenated after my week long detox and adventure stay.

Naveria Lodge is a very special boutique accommodation offering warm and friendly Fijian hospitality provided by Sharon and her beautiful staff, Jazmine, Atu, Rosa, Serita and Viri. The daily massages and body treats by Viri were fantastic and the food delicious.

Sharon organised trips to swim in beautiful waterfalls, paddling on the bay, jungle hikes and a wonderful village experience with singing and dancing. All experiences that I'll never forget.

The detox was just what I needed to reset my eating habits and get me back on track to a healthier gut, which now includes daily coconut intake and some special herbs that grow wild in Fiji, pointed out by Sharon, who knows a lot about the medicinal value of the island's plants.

I would highly recommend a stay at Naveria Lodge. Sharon and the staff are warm and friendly, the views spectacular, the food good, the rooms lovely and very clean and no day is ever the same, plus it is all inclusive. So go, you'll love it!!

I stayed at Naveria Heights Lodge for 7 days in June, 2022. Sharon-the owner of the lodge picked me up from the airport promptly.

The lodge is located on the hill overlooking beautiful harbor and Entry of the harbor. The lodge has amazing views. The architect is gorgeous. Perfect polished wood floor, spacious covered sitting area inside and out on the porch gave you such nice experience from morning coffee till night view.

The breakfast is incredible! Smooth and mixed fruit are tasty!

Sharon provided plenty excursion options including the best deep tissue massage at her lodge on the porch and dinner at her lodge.

I have the best experience all around!!

We read the reviews about Navaria Heights and there is a lot of truth in all of them.
Yes it is up a steep climb.
Yes there are a lot of mosquitos
Yes the bed wasn’t the most comfortable.

But…it’s how you look at it that makes the difference.

We embraced the climb and it is do-able. We enjoyed that it was making us fit.
We wore bug spray. No big deal. We have to do that where we live in summer also.
We still managed to sleep even though the bed wasn’t great. We didn’t go to Fiji to sleep, we went to explore and scuba dive and snorkel.

Other positives -
The views were amazing!
The staff were beautiful, friendly, accommodating, attentive and welcoming.
The dinner, which you can ask for, was plentiful and delicious and they accommodated dietary needs.
If you love animals, Zues the dog, is friendly and you can take him for a walk around the mountain top. He knows the way!

The place does need a bit of love but it is what you make it. The rooms would benefit from some local Information in them and also what dinners were available.

We enjoyed our stay and had a positive experience there.

I spent two glorious, relaxing days at Naveria Heights Lodge. The resort staff are very welcoming and extremely attentive to cleanliness. The included breakfast is varied and plentiful and the fresh-pressed coffee is excellent. I enjoyed the spectacular poolside room with its lovely, sheltered wraparound deck. The bed is comfortable, with luxurious bedding and beautiful woodsy decor. There’s a gorgeous oceanview and several comfortable areas to dine, or relax. There’s a lovely breezy, the temperature was pleasant and there weren’t many flying insects. Naveria Heights also operates excursions and provides transportation. Use the path if walking to town. The Captain’s Table has a huge menu with take-away options. The location was optimal for me, being close to both the harbour and the airport. The airport is tiny and there’s no need to arrive there too early. Naveria Heights Lodge is a well-run, safe, pretty, private, comfortable, centrally-located place to stay and I would return. Thank you to all staff and Zues for your hospitality!

I went with my boyfriend and have a lovely stay up the heights. The room was so unique and had an outdoor shower, and for dinner we had plenty of options from seafood to tradition korean food. The view is amazing along with the staff, we were taken along a nature hike with a beautiful view the whole way. In the morning we had fresh coffee and a healthy and delicious fruit salad. This was preferred over a resort as it shows us more of the nature in savu savu. The second day of our stay we were taken to a waterfall that was secluded and we had it all to ourselves, while we were there we had a lunch provided by the staff. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a nature/detox retreat and is searching for the local parts of the island. I have read the reviews on the road leading to the lodge, this did not seem to be a problem for us as there was multiple taxis that would take us back up to the lodge. My boyfriend and I came to enjoy the hike as we like fitness and get to look at the scenery on the way.

We had an unforgettable experience at Naveria Heights Lodge. From the stunning views to the incredibly friendly staff, everything exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious, clean, and offered the perfect mix of comfort and Fijian style. We loved waking up to the breathtaking scenery every morning.

The path to and from the lodge to town is scenic and adventurous—definitely adding to the charm of the location. The plunge pool was incredibly refreshing and rewarding after a hike up! The breakfasts were delicious, and the staff made us feel like part of the family. It’s the perfect place to relax and unwind. We can’t wait to return!

Thank you, Sharon, Annie, Sunil, and Zeus!
