My holiday highlights at La Dolce Vita were: * a relaxing, peaceful get-away from the hustle and bustle of the world *an eco-friendly holiday venue that uses solar power with a fresh water spring from their own volcanic aquifer that is filtered then gravity fed down to the villas * a tidal lagoon with water sports platform, kayaks and paddle boards ocean and garden vistas that are breezy, colourful and vibrant * spacious and comfortable hexagonal 2-bedroom, single or over the lagoon villas * delicious breakfasts that align with trying something local or with your dietary needs and the spreads are home-made * daily cocktails at happy hour accompanied by interesting conversations with phenomenal people * mouthwatering, home cooked meals of various fusions and cuisines that tease your taste buds from celebrity chef Michelle and even a teppanyaki table for those sultry summer nights * friendly and helpful staff from airport pickup to housekeeping and groundsmen - Margaret even helps to book snorkelling or fishing expeditions with nearby providers * the experience of flying in a small twin prop aircraft (19-seater) over lush green mountains and clear tranquil ocean from either Suva or Nadi to Savusavu Thank you Luigi and Margaret for the memorable stay!

Have just returned from a wonderful family holiday at La Dolce Vita Holiday Villas and WOW!! This small family run resort is beautiful, peaceful and relaxing, a perfect place to unwind and distress.
There were 14 of us - 10 adults and 4 children and we were all looked after amazingly from all the staff and especially by the hosts Margaret and Luigi. Chef Michele treated us to some delicious meals using incredibly fresh and high quality ingredients. The cuisines ranged from Italian, Chinese, Indian and of course Fijian - not to mention the desserts which were all amazing.
If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle this is the perfect place to stay. You can spend your time swimming in the pool or kayaking and paddle boarding in the lagoon, alternatively you can relax with a book in the many shaded areas around the resort enjoying the sea breeze.

I have just returned from the most beautiful weekend away at the La Dolce Vita Holiday Villas. Raewyn from Balabala Bobo has been doing wellness retreats here for a few years now and I have not been able to make the dates work but boy oh boy am I happy I finally got here! From the moment that we arrived to the retreat Margaret and her team made us feel right at home! I couldn’t wait to explore, we checked in and the villa I stayed in was stunning, my favourite being the glass doors. Michelle and the team in the kitchen did an amazing spread of Indian, Fijian, Italian and Japanese cuisine and every meal was delicious, one of my fav was the Rourou pizza (pic attached) Our yoga sessions with Liti left us feeling relaxed and energised for the day ahead! This resort had everything for everyone, weather you were into reading a book, getting a massage or wanted to hike up the hills (that where very intense even though I thought I was fit). They have kayaks and paddle board for the more adventureous souls :) Thank you so much for allowing us to share your home Margaret and Loui, I will be back but this time with the fam!

We had a wonderful week at the La Dolce Vita Resort. The hosts made this week very special, and chef Michele prepared us the most delicious dishes for breakfast and dinner. Relaxing by and in the water during the day, great excursions, and delicious food, what more could you want? We were staying in one of the overwater villas with direct access to the lagoon, and had everything we needed. We will definetly be back soon!

Without doubt one of our favorite places we stayed during our time in Fiji! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the hosts. The staff was extremely friendly, the restaurant very flexible and the restaurant cook Michele deserves a special thanks. It's a true sample of excellent hospitality.

We came from New Zealand and stayed for 4 nights. This is a small and beautiful resort where you will be very well cared for by owners Margaret and Luigi along with the entire friendly staff at La Dolce Vita. We had fun playing on the picturesque golf course Luigi has created Swimming in the pool and lagoon, relaxing in the many areas provided The food created by Michelle was a treat, delicious meals with a different theme every night, served with fresh produce. Our villa looking out over the reef was comfortable and beautifully clean. It provided us with everything we needed. Prices are so reasonable with breakfast and dinner included. We Recommend contacting Margaret directly to check availability and to book your stay.

The La Dolce Vita family is thrilled to read that our guests have enjoyed their time with us. Michelle puts a lot of love and care into meal preparation and presentation, working with whatever fresh fruit and produce that’s available on the property, or the market and is always appreciative of the recognition. The halters that you kindly donated were very excitedly accepted by young horse owners in Naweni and Dromuninuku Villages, relatives of our housekeeping team. What a fantastic and the most relaxing experience we have had for a long time !!!
Incredible food every single day; meals alined with fresh produce and lovely service along with the room service when requested too !
Great to be able to walk outside the Lagoon Villa and straight into the private lagoon for a dip. Fun using the Stand up Paddle boards and Kayaks.
Very friendly and fun staff and again compliments to the Chef.
Big thank you to our Hosts; Margaret and Luigi, they made us feel like we were family and nothing was a hassle when enquiring about tours or information about the area.
Well Rested, we will be back,

When planning a trip to a remote island in Fiji, I looked for a base nearby and contacted several places near Savusavu to see if they could help with the challenging travel arrangements. Some had not even heard of the remote island, and only one knew it and offered to help: La Dolce Vita (LDV). In all my travels, I've not encountered such wonderful service as with the staff of LDV. The menu was planned in advance of my scheduled arrival, and adapted to my tastes. A schedule of activities was also arranged ahead of time, including travel to and from the remote island that I was to visit. In the end, I had to postpone my trip, but I nonetheless remain impressed with, and grateful to, the LDV staff and operation. First rate.
