A big thanks to Taveuni ocean sports for a fantastic day on the Rainbow Reef. I have never come across an operation as professional as they were!!! They offer free pickups in time from the resorts and bring you to their diveshop which is only located a few minutes from the rainbow reef by boat. High quality gear all set...

What a wonderful, tranquil setting in Taveuni! This family owned and run eco resort is a perfect vacation spot if you want to get away from it all. The owners, Jim & Robin, are just wonderful as are their fabulous staff. They make you feel like part of the family and really take care of you during your stay. The...

Wanavu! (Amazing!) We just spent 2 incredible weeks at the fabulous Nakia Resort and Dive. The views were spectacular from the Cliffside Restaurant and each bure (cottage). Our gracious hosts, Robin and Jim, were attentive to our every want and need. The staff greeted us with a friendly bula (hello) whenever we crossed paths, asking if we needed anything! The...

Being a dive instructor and avid world traveler, I am always searching for the ideal dive resort. Well, Nakia is on the top of my list and I keep returning every year. The accommodations are impeccable with beautifully landscaped grounds, spotless bures, and delicious food. On this trip, I was traveling with my husband and my mother-in-law. We stayed in...

We visited Nakia 7 years ago and had wanted to get back. Spent 8 days there relaxing, diving, hiking, eating and enjoyed every minute. This is a peaceful place with wonderful owners and a great staff. Quiet, peaceful, and beautiful. The meals were meticulously prepared and tasted wonderful. Diving was good. The reef definitely took a hit from the category...

We should have saved this resort for last....it was the one against which all other Fijian resorts were measured! Superb service, delicious homegrown food that they'll make however you like (easy on the rice/potatoes for me!), great views, delicious potable water from their own artesian well, calm atmosphere (there are only 4 bures!). We were welcomed with a lei and...

My family spent four days at Nakia in the Somosomo bure and absolutely loved it! The bure was spotless, had everything we needed. The view from the porch was beautiful and we loved the double hammock overlooking the ocean. The food was fabulous, I only wish we could have stayed longer so I could try everything on the menu. The...

Our 13 nights at Nakia were lovely. All the staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The food is lovely, local, locally grown, and beautifully presented. Bures are clean, spacious, and comfortable. The island has many outdoor activities on offer; the Lavena Coastal walk is particularly nice. Many thanks to Joyce and Julie!
