This Hotel was recommended to us by Plan My Tour for my wife’s 60th birthday celebration and how right they were.
From the moment we checked in to the day we left the attention and service we received at this wonderful hotel was absolutely first class.
We were taken to our room by Steve who gave us a brief but excellent guide to the facilities at the hotel before delivering us to our room.
Our room was very spacious, with a large Queen sized bed, exceptionally clean and well appointed.
Having arrived late, we were taken to the Hucuna Matata restaurant where we were again well looked after with a late meal which was very welcome.
Next day and every day thereafter, we had nothing but first class service. The food at the restaurant was wonderful, with a different menu everyday and exceptional service from all of the restaurant staff. I would particularly like to thank Head Chef Ali who went out of his way to get my wife some crackers for cheese which is something they don’t usually have but he got them. I would also like to thank Chef Taha who prepared beef bacon for me so that I could have as near to an English breakfast as is possible. Special thanks also go to Mr. Mohammed, Mamouk, Remy, Adly and all of the restaurant staff who looked after us so well.
As I mentioned earlier, this holiday was to celebrate my wife’s birthday and the staff went to exceptional lengths to make it memorable. On the day, our room cleaner Mohammed Ali, decorated our room with balloons and towel art and at the pool the life guards did the same. Later in the evening, we went to the Hotel restaurant and again the staff made a great fuss of my wife, bringing out a cake and singing Happy Birthday to her; absolutely wonderful.
This hotel is for us probably the best we have ever stayed in and I cannot thank everyone enough for making it so memorable.

Our stay in Sierra was excellent. We come on 19 January till 26 January.
At breakfast we eat vaffles, so delicious. Ar toasts, fruits.
Dinner at AkunaMatata was good, varriable of food and tatsy seafood soup. At lunch can eat pizza, burgers, near the pool.

I have only 2 little things I dont like.
Firts, bus to Naama Bay go 21:30, maybe best time was at 21:00 or 20:30, because need to drive 20-25 minutes to Naama Bay, back to hotel only 15 minutes, so at hotel you come 00:15, lobby bar work only till 01:00, so- you have only 45 min to drink some cooctail and talk with others, because at 01:00 staff stop work and come cleaners.
Second, cakes and desserts all taste the same. No many options, tastes. If you take chocholate cake- not taste as chocholate cake.
The choise of fruits was great.

If you come to this hotel, take Premium AI, because then you can go to AkunaMatata resaturant and have many other options to do.

Perfect location just go out of hotel you find yourself in Soho square.
Many pools and all of them was clear
Nice food and all chefs wear gloves and masks while they put the food and the eating tools are packed.
Very nice beach for snorkeling lovers.. but it was not suitable for those who can't swim but there is a many life guards that will help you and be with you all time so no need to worry... Special thanks to Samuel the best life guard ever, he was very helpful and caring.
Thanks for all the collaborative staff for their honest and their commitment in all preventive measurements.

It is my 8th consecutive visit to sierra, it has been the perfect option for me throughout the last 7 years, this year was different but I would like to start first with the positives. pools and rooms are clean, all the staff wear masks, they tried their best to keep a social distance on the beach and in the restaurant, and I would like to thank all of the staff especially Mr. Mohamed Samir at the main restaurant who tried his best to accomplish all guests' satisfaction, also Abdullah, Islam, chef Tarek, and chef Mohamed, also I would like to thank Mr. Elsayed , Osama Shaaban, and Samuel on the beach, and finally Ahmed from the animation team, on the other hand, food is not tasty specially compared to last year, and the animation guys on the beach totally ignore the Egyptains ,also the reason why I rate the hotel as average after rating it as excellent for the last 7 year is how unprofessional is the reservation center in dealing with issues either by ignoring emails or on calls they keep saying the same answer that they will check and return back to you and they never return back and I had to call again and again, which I consider as a disrespect, also upon arriving I had to wait for about 2 hours to get a good room based on my stay history in the hotel, the people at the front desk keep trying to convese me that all the rooms on the main pool are either reserved or not ready and finally when I asked to see the manager they solved the problem and a good room on the main pool became ready, although the final result is good, that behaviour send the message of low credability and also ruin the image of the hotel, I will not add any names here because a complain was already filed to Mr. ehab who politily apologized for this behaviour, finally unfortunately I forgot some expensive items at the reception area upon checking out and realized that after returning back to home so I send an email to the front desk asking them to confirm that they can keep my items untill I find some one to collect them but as usual "NO ANSWER" and I had to call them to ask about my items. My advice to management is to add more control on employees especially the reservation center and the front desk and how they deal with guests, sierra was a perfect place so please try to keep it as before but for me currently, it will not be on my top list anymore

Dear Eng. Hossam, Thank you for choosing the SAVOY Sierra Sharm El Sheikh and for taking the time to give us your feedback. It was particularly disappointing to read your negative feedback and the issues you faced at our hotel, my sincerest apologies. I discussed all the matters with my team : On the 30th of November 2019 our reservation received an email from you ( after the expiry of the Black Friday offer ) stating that you couldn`t succeed in making your needed booking using your own credit card or even another credit cards, our reservation extended apologized as the offer already expired and that we can only offer our normal rates discounted 5% SCL, then you replied us back that the credit cards you used are working properly and when we made sure that the error is occurring from our hotel website due interface issue we`ve confirmed you the needed reservation on the 2nd of December at the Black Friday discount & conditions ( arrival 02.06.20 departure 11.06.20 ). On the 11th of August 2020 we received your request of changing the old booking ( which turned no-show due to the COVID19 pandemic ) to be as of 19.08.20 until 29.08.20 asking also for the rate of one extra double room he might add, accordingly we have confirmed the dates modification with the same offer discount and details based on August rates which caused a daily difference of 08 USD to be paid by the guest, Who asked us later by to remove this difference applying only the original booking amount, but we have advised him that we can only amend his dates according to his plan keeping on the offer privileges however according to the hotel published rates. NB: Reservation replied your inquiry emails quickly in a timely manner, however you called so many times after his modification confirmation and was always answered according to the hotel courtesy and standards We checked the front desk email and nothing sent from your side please check the email addresses you sent to it. With reference to the rooms front desk offered you 4 room all in sierra hotel, and we don’t have room type called Main Pool, but it’s one of our pool view locations and it's not mandatory at all and subject to the hotel availability. We are committed to delivering the highest level of guest service and I can assure you that we are doing everything to ensure in future these areas are improved and up to our usual high standards. Should you decide to afford us the opportunity to serve you once more in the future I would be delighted to handle your booking request personally. My first expérience in Egypt was in January 2021. I couldn't imagine it would be so amazing. Thanks all of Sierra staff❤️ You made it more comfortable, friendly and, really, I didn't want to come back home. It was my second home there.

The first person who I faced - it was Samy. He works on reception. He can help and explain everything you need. So kind, friendly person. Please, contact with him if you have some questions.

Restaurant service: it was very very tasty food. Especially, I'd like to say a lot of thanks to Mohamed Ezz, who is a waiter there. He can help you and bring you everything you need. He's so sociable and friendly person. He knows how to make your day better, espesially when he proposes you to play with him some logical game!

A lot of thanks to Duty Manager - Magdy El Degwy. He is kind, responsible person and I can say - he is the boss of all Sierra's cats. It was a pleasure to communicate with him, cause he knows and shares the best experience in Sharm El Sheikh, and Egypt places. He is taking care of all people there.

Thanks to room staff. I've not ever seen such clean and wonderful room, especially with such wonderful Garden View. I saw how do you take care of the health of tourists when you cleaned and disinfected the territory every day. I respect all of your work.

Thanks to Lifeguards staff. You were so attentive and friendly.

And special thanks I want to say to the Entertainment manager❤️😍 Unfortunately, I don't know him. Next time I hope I can say it directly, that you have a wonderful animation team, I've ever seen.

Thanks Valia, Ahmed and Sam for the friendly, fanny atmosphere. You, as a tourist, can spend time with this team during Yoga, stretching, Zumba, pool and evening activities. And many many thanks to Dj Sopky: you have a really good taste of music, I really like it!

We stayed here for 4 nights. Check in was smooth. Our room was very spacious and they did supply us with a cot for our baby.

There is shuttle bus that takes you to the beach and operates every 30 mins. The beach is very pretty but we didn't find any step free access just in case anyone with wheelchair or buggy are looking to visit. The beach however is very beautiful and they serve decent hot food in the afternoon included in the package.

It's a very beautiful hotel with well kept grounds, and right next to Soho. I found it a bit difficult getting a cab to leave the hotel to visit other parts of Sharm unless you pay quite high price. But because we had a small baby we spent most of our time in the hotel and Soho and didn't really feel the need to go elsewhere.

I didn't have enough time to use the spa but it looked really lovely and the prices were very reasonable. The kids zone and kids pool were nice and quiet and I recommend it for families.

The animation team were really friendly compared to other hotels in sharm. Even the girls in the beach tried their best to keep up the atmosphere even though it was very quiet and very cold. I want to give a special shout out to the new Egyptian guy in animation, Mohammed, he was really helpful and made time for a quick chat with us everyday. He also gave us helpful advice and told us the activities and show that's on everyday so we make the most out of the entertainment on offer by the hotel.

The only thing I didn't really like about this hotel much is the food. I've stayed in Sharm probably over 10+ times and visited numerous hotel, and I don't think the hotel food matches other five star hotels I've stayed in. There is alot of variety but the dishes taste very similar every day and very repetitive. However I did enjoy the live pasta Station. I also found all the girls in the restaurant super helpful and they always helped me find a high chair for my baby.

I also had an incident where I lost my baby's personalised blanket, and the staff took it very seriously and I managed to recover the blanket.

Taking everything into account, I wouldn't hesitate to stay again in this hotel.

This is the second time we have chosen this hotel for our holiday. Our room was located near the swimming pool, the area is beautiful, well-groomed, a lot of greenery. It’s striking that all the staff wear masks and hand gloves, and everywhere you can find a hand sanitizer. Very thanks to the hotel staff for their care and quick help in solving all problems. I especially want to thank the waiter Mohamed Ezz - he did everything to make us feel at home. Thanks for the atmosphere, it was pleasantly to stay in Sierra!

The bad stuff:
I would have given 5 stars if we hadnt have had an problem upon arrival..
the first receptionist said that we were not booked in and suggested there was another hotel with the same name and this was not sorted until someone else was on the next day and lots of phonecalls to travel agents etc and we had to pay for that night and get refunded the next day (minus 5%).
The Hotel staff did everything they could to make our stay perfect after that but it should never had happened.

Now the good stuff:
The rooms were spotless, as was the whole hotel. The pools were also lovely and well kept. There was also an adults only pool which was nice to have.

All the food was lovely and there was lots to choose from each day. There was a main buffet restaurant open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and another Al a carte restaurant open for dinner at no extra cost. Food was also available at one of the pool bar areas with quite a lot on the menu between lunch and dinner.

There was a lovely beach which is only shared with the Savoy. Its a 10 min walk or there is a free shuttle bus every 20 mins from the hotel and back. Everything there was also spotless and well kept. There was a jetty and you could go off the end and snorkel in the reef where there were lots of fish.

The back of the Hotel exits out onto the great Soho Square which has an entertainment stage there for free and lots of shops etc.

The hotel has an animation team who were all lovely and ran fun things to do throughout each day both in the Hotel and on the Beach. They also go to a night club at the end of each day, which is optional and has a small fee if you want to go with them.

There are around 16 Cats all living on site and cared for by the Hotel, as I love Cats this was a bonus in my eyes and you wouldn't guess until you see them as the hotel keeps everything everywhere spotless.

There are games in the hotel free to play such as giant Chess, ping ping and ball games. There is also a free gym and 1 free use of jacuzzi. The Spa has an extra charge but is discounted.

We want to give a special shout out to Emad the Bar Man and Cocktail maker, Adely who was always on hand to help us and Ehad (hopefully i spelt it right) who went above and beyond to arrange lots of things to make our trip extra special and on my Partners Birthday!

I was in Sierra during June and I recommend it to others, its really Excellent Hotel in Sharm. I was a regular customer before Covid and when i arrived i did late check in, the reception staff leads by Mr Moustafa complete all the procedures very quick to catch the dinner.
Very testy food and many varieties for different cultures (thanks for the chiefs, also thanks to Rasha in the open buffet restaurants , also the pool bar staff Adly, Gurgis and Ayman. thank you Ahmad The pool guard, Also Room services staff (Gurgis) was great he was cleaning the room and change the towels everyday without asking. Thank you Mr Mohamed Tahon the shuttle driver he was very helpful during our way to the downtown. Also very big thank you for the animation team (Manus, Eldaly, Yehia and Joe)

I would find it hard to criticise this hotel because of the shear effort they go to to keep the place clean and to make sure you are happy with everything.
Special mentions to Mr Angelo in the lobby bar, Peter (lobby bar and beach), the lifeguard with the moustache (think his name was Muhammad).
We did tip the odd fiver here and there but you only have to Google egypt waiters wages to know that this helps them alot.
The room was good and kept clean. Although if you do get a triple room there's no privacy, it's two beds in one room. Cleaners kept it clean daily and if we said we didn't want it cleaning that day they would still give us extra bottles of water.
You weren't allowed to reserve loungers so this meant there were always loungers free at which ever pool you wanted. You had towel cards so you could get fresh towels very day at either the pool or the beach. The WiFi worked well, whether in the room, at the pool, or even by the beach.
Breakfast was good, fresh waffles omlettes, and pancakes amongst other stuff. Dinner was OK in the main restaurant and you could book daily to go to akuna matata restaurant which we enjoyed.
All other restaurants in soho square you have to pay for but get a 25% discount being a sierra customer. I would recommend soho house for tex mex, and zen chinese and queen Vic all do good food.
You can drink at the main entertainment stage at soho square at the sierra bar but they give you paper cups which was a bit rubbish.
The drinks were OK, the cocktails were very sugary and the local spirits weren't the best.
The shuttle to the beach was always on time every 20 mins. It's only a 10 min slow walk but coming back it was useful to avoid coming up the hill. You can order fixed price taxis from the concierge which we used to get back to the airport.
Pre book your transfer from the airport before arrival as I ended up having to barter with a dodgy taxi guy.
Barter for everything OK soho square as well, altho some shops start lower than others.
All the English seem to get the tummy bug in Egypt and we were no exception but if you go Omar and Omar chemist on soho square they give you antinol for about 1 gdp which is what you need to sort it.
It certainly isn't down to cleanliness of the hotel, it was arguably the cleanist hotel we've been to. Even the toilets at the beach and by the pools were spotless. They have a hygiene team that you see testing behind the bars etc. The lifeguards clean the filters daily by the pools.
The free shuttle bus to naama bay and to the old market run daily in the evening but you have to book them.
We would definitely come back, although maybe not in the summer as egypt is so hot in the summer
