We have just spent 2 weeks in the Serenity Beach hotel.
The grounds are stunning and well maintained and the beach is beautiful with the snorkelling just off the pier rivals any location around the world with thousands of fish literally on the door step. The hotel is defo a 5 star hotel with so many amenities, facilities and quality throughout and yes the hotel is a little aged in some areas but they have just embarked on a whole heap of work to bring some of the slightly tired areas up to standard. None of this detracted in any way from the beautiful hotel that this is. The saltwater pools are beautiful and scenic while the main freshwater ones are idyllic! Going in Jan meant the hotel was lovely and quiet and all the staff were so attentive. Mahmoud was always on hand to provide us drinks around the pool while Omar looked after our room and decorated it specially on my sons 10th bday. The food was beautiful!! whether in the main buffet restaurant, any of the 6 a la carte restaurants, the ultra all inclusive buffet or the beach bar serving beef teriyaki, burgers or pizza - there was always something fantastic and freshly cooked to dip into! Those who moan about there not being enough english food need to not stray too far from their local Weatherspoons as we enjoyed steak, salmon, fresh prawns, shawarma in freshly baked pitta, grilled chicken etc etc and of course chips were always available. Aladdin (the general manager) was everything you would want from a manger, looking out for not only his guests but his staff and he was always available to talk to and have a laugh with. We also used the Serenity fun city aqua park (the 2 hotels face each other and are literally 5mins walk apart) which was also excellent and great fun for kids and adults alike. Can’t recommend this hotel enough A pleasure to stay here under Aladdin’s watchful eye!

Wow! What an Amazing hotel with Excellent, First Class Staff! Our room was great, in a quiet location away from stairs as we requested, perfect! It was my 50th Birthday also whilst out there and Mr Aladdin ( The hotel Manager) organised a lovely cake for me ( where the staff came out singing!) and made us reservations in the Royal Restaurant, it was so lovely, Thank you. Also, our room cleaner (i think Mohamed) was soo sweet and made us Towel Animals every day, I loved it, and the display on our bed for my Birthday was Amazing with petals and all. Food was fabulous, hot, fresh, lots of choses and plentiful. The waterpark at the sister Hotel was good fun and the grounds are beautifully kept. The real treasure of the Hotel is its Coral Reef at the end of the peer, it is like swimming in a tropical fish tank!!! You do not need flippers, but I highly recommend investing £20 in a Full face mask, with air funnel in the centre for great vision. All in all Perfect, we will definately return, thank you Mr Aladdin for being a great Manager ( he is everywhere!!) and running a “Tight Ship”

Spent 13 days at the hotel recently and fell in love the place and staff. From the moment you go through the gates at security you know you are staying in a well run resort.
We originally booked in for the Fun city but was moved to Makadi Beach hotel on the same complex. The reception is stunning and as soon as our transfer arrived the staff had our bags unpacked and waiting to go to our room within seconds check in took a few minutes where the GM Mr Aladdin come to great us personally and made us fell very welcome, the staff on reception Armed and Sherif where amazing with us all holiday nothing was to much for them.
We had two rooms both of which were very spacious and well equipped, we had an issues with hot water on one day which was fixed within 5 minutes of a phone call to reception. The cleaner Mohammed done an amazing job every day and left our daughters very excited every evening to get back to the room to see what he had done to the beds today with his excellent bed/towel creations.
The food at the main restaurant was nice with plenty of choice each day and the food at the snack bars, beach and aqua was personally my favourite, special mention to the chef at the Aqua park who was always so patient and good with the kids. We also had two meals at the Ala-cart both on the French days again the staff there were very attentive and made the whole evening very enjoyable
The aqua park staff were so good with the kids and us as a family it was so easy to relax around the pools/slides knowing that our kids where in safe hands, they would greet us every morning with a smile and conversation.
My only complaint about the stay was the beer, I like to have a few beers on my holidays and due to covid they have switched to cans which they would poor into a cup for you, no issues with that but after they poured the beer they would leave it out in the warm and left open until either you or another guest asked for another beer sometimes the beer would turn up so flat and warm it was impossible to drink. I did mention this to the GM and to his credit it improved greatly in some of the bars such us the swim up bar and beach bar but not all especially in the main bar and aqua park bar.
The sellers around the pool for trips/spa/beauty treatments, while they are always so very polite and friendly they can get a bit much at times. I apricate they are trying to do their jobs but for me it did get annoying at times.
Last part for the GM Mr Aladdin he was such a nice person everyday he would come up and speaks to us as a family not just to make sure the hotel was up to expectations but just to talk to the kids or us about the football or what was going on in the world.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel and cannot wait to come back post covid so we can see everything fully back to normally, we cannot thank the staff enough for making our holiday very special we look forward to seeing you again soon

We arrived at the Serenity Makadi beach hotel on the 7th Jan for one week, to a great welcome from Mohammed in reception, he immediately saw that my wife was disabled and gave us a ground floor room very near the reception and restaurants, the room was clean and spacious, with a good view of gardens and pool, the food was very good and different every day. The service was excellent from the waiters especially Ramadan, Mohammed and Ahmet in fact all of them were great on the ball at all times. then we met the newly appointed General Manager, Aladdin, who was very informative, extremely knowledgable of the hotel industry, any trouble he would sort it. We will definitely go back there for another holiday. We would just like to thank Alladin and his staff for a wonderfully memorable stay.

As regular guest I can say hotel has lots of upgrades in all area renovating the pools and new executive restaurant at the beach is one if the best in Hurghada. Staff almost compete to see who can impress you most and make you feel so special. In the executive restaurant i have to say a special thank you Ahmed and Youssef they would watch for us coming in and direct us to a table, and as we sat down he remembered what we drink we liked and had it on the table ready. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, and had fresh bottles of water placed in the fridge every day at no extra cost and we asked for soft drinks and has been fulfilled our request with no any charges as well as part of loyal guest. Rooms also have tea and coffee making facilities, Food in all of the restaurants were of a superior. Aladin the GM doi g great job to working all day around to renovating the hotel in different area plus good advantage he is always with his guests. Great job to all the team and see you soon!!!

My husband and I enjoyed every bit of our time in the hotel. Everyone there is very friendly and helpful. The manager, Mr. Alaa Eldeen, is a very decent man. He made sure that we always felt comfortable and asked if we were missing anything. Mr. Abdo Ibrahim was absolutely helpful. He made sure that whatever we had in our plan was done. He helped us with reservations and many more things. The hotel has other activities including safari, diving, snorkelling and other stuff as well. We took a safari trip and took a break in the middle to enjoy a nice cup of bedouin tea. After that we continued to the beach where we took some really nice pictures.The rooms were cleaned daily along with the complimentary bar being filled. The pools and the beach were amazing. They had a heated pool for some days were a bit cold. The aqua park in Serenity Fun City was so much fun. There are a couple of restaurants in the hotel alongside the main restaurant. We tried “Royal Lounge” and “Al Dente Italiano”, the food was delicious in the two places. The hotel’s main restaurant was great as well. They offer a large variety of food to make sure everyone enjoys their meals. There is a pharmacy, clinic, supermarket, and a couple of shops to buy souvenirs. They also offer limousine services if you wish to go to Hurghada itself. Overall, the experience was a very very delightful one and definitely we will be visiting Serenity Makadi Beach Hotel another time ❤️

We visited Serenity Beach hotel on the 30th Dec 2019 for 2 weeks and we did not want to come home. The room near the beach was spotless and our cleaner Muhamid Hussain did everything we requested regarding our room he is a very hard worker. The second week we upgraded thanks to Mr A he was fantastic the Baywatch restaurant is amazing we enjoyed every single meal we had the waiters are brilliant. Everyone is so kind and very positive the waiters in the lobby bar especially Shehab who is a very hard worker and is funny and kind. I know we will return to the hotel as there is something really special about the people who all have brilliant positivity, strong work ethics and enjoy the job they do. Thankyou everyone.

We travelled in January.weather in the day time was 23 degrees very nice but by four oclock it was cold take warm clothing for the evening. The staff are wonderful nothing was too much trouble for them. So relaxing. When we visited it was impossible to go in the swimming pools as fresh water and very very cold. There was a new pool being constructed during our visit but the management gave us full use of sun city another of their hotels across the road a bit of a pain but still enjoyable. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable rooms were cleaned daily but ask for a do not disturb sign as they start cleaning early. complimentary pop and water supplied.. The food was very good a wide variety did have a few days of tummy upset but soon cleared up chemist on site.would stay here again but maybe in feb/march when they say it warms up, The surrounding gardens are lovely.and when the new heated pool is completed it will be a big bonus im sure the freshwater pool will be more appreciated in the hot summer months. The entertainment was ok the bar staff excellent.Only one restaurant was opened during our stay but we used the other restaurants at Sun City I can highly recommend the italian now that was five star on the whole during our visit I would say it was at British three star standard. A final comment the manager Aladdin was very helpful.

We have just returned home after an amazing week here. The location of this hotel is perfect with its own beach. The hotel has beautiful gardens and a lovely view of the sea. From the moment we arrived until we left we experienced the best service in any hotel we have stayed in. The staff here cannot do enough for you and work so hard, nothing is too much trouble. Even the manager, mr Aladdin is always working, talking to guests and making sure they are happy. We loved Eslam at the bar and we had a lovely room attendant who never disturbed us and made the towels into cute animals every day. When we went on a trip to Luxor the hotel arranged a picnic bag to take with us. The atmosphere was fairly quiet, as all the noisy stuff appears to be in the other hotel, fun city which caters more for families with an aqua park. Serenity beach caters more for couples and is perfect for a peaceful, relaxing holiday. There is some entertainment such as singers in the bar in the evening, and an animation team who do activities such as Zumba, volleyball and yoga at the beach. The beach bar is fabulous, burgers, pizzas and pancakes mainly. There were a few other things to eat there, but we loved sitting there with the sea view that we ate lunch there every day. The food in the restaurants is good, a decent selection in the buffet restaurant and never had any wait for a table. Due to the building work and the other restaurant being closed we were told we could use the a la carte restaurants as much as we wanted. We used the oriental, which is actually Egyptian food, loved the food there but the portions were so big it felt a bit wasteful when we couldn’t finish it all. We liked the royal lounge which was French food, the food there was excellent. We also used the Italian, it was nice but we thought the food in that one was fairly average compared to the others. We arranged some trips to Luxor and a Jeep Sahara with quad biking through the company that we booked our transfer. They were very good and organised very well. I would suggest asking the hotel reception to help you if you want to book trips as they seem to know all the reps for the companies. The only slight negative to this hotel was the building works going on, there are renovations to the main pool and you can hear some noise. But this hasn’t affected our stay as the rooms near the works are not used. We could also use the pools at the other hotel but we were more than happy to use the beach. I really didn’t want to come home, and we will definitely be back to this hotel.

I spent 4 days at Serenity Makadi Bay. Regarding the location it has a great advantage as it located right infront of a nice snorkeling and diving site so you have an opportunity of enjoying the sea and the aquapark as well. The aquapark is not top of the line but still your children will have fun for at least 3 or 4 days without getting bored. The food although it was all inclusive but i have to say it was much more behind expectations. The first time to experience all inclusive with such good quality. The staff members maybe are their most advantage, from the bell to the room service are very welcoming, helpful, polite and very keen to offer you the most comfortable stay. Specially Mansour at the room service and his speedy response to any request. Maybe the only two negative issues are the WiFi which you can't depend on and some little maintenance need to be made at the rooms. Otherwise I can evaluate the stay as a very nice one. Hi, I’ve used the Gym almost everyday, it has a lat pull-down, combined chest press, incline with shoulder press. Some cable machines and a decent amount of cardio. Bench, bars and free weights. Sometimes could have done with a clean, guess I’m OCD after working in the fitness sector all my life.
For me it was ok while I was on holiday. I always take my resistance bands just to keep my workout moving so I don’t have to wait. It’s fair for me, I just get in and spend app 45mins then back to the sun and relax.
It’s changed names from when we went last November and then went March this year, upgraded to ultra all inclusive, best ever, use of both hotels and unlimited al a carte restaurants.
