bad food and few options, Bad experience, only 1 restaurant not 7 as there is on the description. The food options are really only 4: rice, pasta, meat and salad. Really disappointed about the food. They put on there description that they offer 7 restaurants, so i thought that here i will find finally good food and lots of options but in reality only 1 restaurant it's available to eat from. They mislead the clients Asked in reception why, and they didn't know what to say. The staff at the entry is rude. The chef at the restaurant don't know how to cook the onion for the pasta, even after my instructions they everything wrong. The hotel is not maintained and not renovated. And above of this they ask am exorbitant 60 euro per night. Crazy. Avoid.
Very bad hotel. First af all when we get in the room smell so bad and the floor was dirty .. the furniture s are old , the whole building is old .. the bathroom was smell awful. The internet that we paid for the hotel was very very very slow and the most times disconnected inside the room or at the beach, it was good only inside the lobby but not necessary because the lobby have free internet, unacceptable. Low variety of food and the most times not even tasty. Take an imodium just to be sure. From the early morning all the sunbeds in the beach are taken with towels to reserve by arrogant customers even if they arent there. The service the animation and the cooks all very kind and willing to help. Definitely dont deserve the money.

We stayed at this hotel for one afternoon and evening while waiting to get a late flight from Hurghada airport. Booking a room for the night at this hotel was the cheapest option I could find for an all inclusive in Hurghada, so my expectation were fairly low. For location the hotel is very close to the airport, but we didn’t hear any aircraft noise while staying here. We found all the staff at the hotel very friendly. I don’t think many English guests have stayed here recently, so several people picked up on our English voices and we’re keen to talk. We arrived a bit early for checkin, reception was happy for us to leave our bags at reception while we explored the hotel and had lunch before checking in. The hotel grounds were clean, with a good position on the beach leading into a sheltered part of the sea. We had lunch and dinner at the hotel, both of these meals were acceptable with the food seeming to be of good quality. The biggest downside of the hotel was the bedrooms. We were allocated a room in Block B. The room was very small, with two single beds and not much space to walk around the beds or leave bags. The rooms also had a strong chemical smell. As we weren’t staying overnight this didn’t affect our stay, but if we had been we would have asked to change rooms. The room decor was also very dated, and in need of a refresh. We organised a taxi to the airport with the taxi desk in the reception area. This was very easy. Overall a good basic hotel, but rooms need some improvement.…
I used to come to giftun it's really very good hotel very supportive cooperative staff starting from reception , restaurants , room service ,.. etc Special thanks to Mr. Ahmed Assem - Mr. Megahed El rawy Fantastic beach , Food is great and delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner are really great Rooms are not very good but they are OK . However I's used to book seaside view rooms which are too much better but they are closed at the moment . Thanks again to all Giftun Azur staff Ahmed Saeed
