Together with my family I had good holiday in grand plaza. It is not very big hotel, which is a good thing in my opinion. It's quiet, I had good night rest in the nice room with comfortable bed. In beach there was always a...More
We have just returned from a sensational, first time, 14 night visit to The Grand Resort Hurghada. The hotel was lovely and well presented. Although my partner and I appeared to be the only English visitors in a hotel with German domination, it was, on...More
Just back from our third visit .. let me start off by saying I love this hotel - if you're after a modern, minimalist hotel then this isn't the one for you. It 's more of a grand old lady, a bit faded around the...More

Hi. Well we personally would recommend the internal ones. Mediterranean & Nigma. Both serve AI meals and drinks but you can purchase specific food if you wish . Like fillet steak , lobster & shrimps . The steakhouse @ Italian are also included as AI sit down restaurants these are outside of the hotel and I’d not recommend.

Hi. We have been to many hotels in hurgada, some good others not so good. In our opinion it was ok, yes it's a bit dated, and could do with a bit of a spruce up, the rooms are fine, clean and tidy, again a bit dated, if you eat meat you will be fine, as there are lots of places to eat in and around the hotel. The all inclusive places are ok, including the Indian which you can use, you just lay for drinks. Lots of pool areas, a nice quiet one and some busier, the pool guys are good, they will look after you and bring you drinks throughout the day. Lots of snack bars for day snacks. The beer was sometimes a bit iffy, they ran out of barrelled, so they gave us cans, that was a bit of a downer. So I reckon my answer is, if you are not expecting to go to a Palace, but have a nice holiday, yes it's fine. WE WOULD GO AGAIN. The hotel isn't on the beach, so you have to cross the road, to it through the sister hotel. We didn't go, because it's not a brilliant beach. If you dive go to Euro divers which are there. We have visited. The Mamlouk palace, The Mercure and The Siva grand. All these are ok too. British are in the minority, but that didn't affect us, we just mind our own business and let them do their own thing. Hope this helps.
