Jowhara is a small family owned hotel in a quieter part of Dahab. The rooms are simple, clean and comfortable. I was made to feel instantly welcome by Tracey, Suleiman and Mohamed. Their warmth and openness makes you feel more like a friend than a guest and it is this which makes Jowhara such a special place to stay. Highly...

I stayed here over the Christmas period and had such a lovely time. The rooms are clean and comfortable, it's in a fairly quiet area, and the staff are great. It felt like home to me by the time I left, as Tracey, Mohamed and Suleiman really did treat my more as a friend than a guest. The breakfasts are...

Clean and comfortable accommodations. Room was basic, but they seem to have different levels of rooms. Tracey is wonderfully hospitable and knowledgeable, as well as a good breakfast cook! Very relaxing courtyard and eating area, or you can just wander down the street to the local restaurants, or over a block to those on the water. Very central location in...

Jowhara is a simple, clean, no-frills hotel for very little money. What makes it stands out from its competition is the hospitality and the genuine friendliness of the management and staff. Nobody is pushing you to do anything (treks, trips, dives), but if you need any information, they will happily provide you with it and arrange anything you'd like to...
