Staff: I was warmly welcomed by the young hotel manager and his mother. The Hotel Manager spoke fluently english and was very nice and obliging. Since he is also a tour organiser he could give me valuable tipps about Santa Cruz and the environment. They were all so nice and hard working and made me feel like home. The Hotel:...

During our stay in Puerto Ayora we've stayed in this "castle". Our room was as specious as a ballroom. The whole hotel feels like a castle. The bathroom had a good shower with hot water. The wifi was good and the breakfast (not included) was very nice. The hotel is a bit outside the city center (20 minute walk) but...

We book this hotel for one night before starting a tour of the Galapagos. The owner is extremely welcoming. They give access to the kitchen and allow guests to take fresh fruit all day long. The rooms are large. It is not a luxury hotel but it offers good value for money. It is like staying in someone's home.

A gorgeous little castle run by a family of bright and friendly people! We were here for four nights and had such a relaxing stay! The rooms are spacious and have unique funky designs! We had bikes to use as transport around the small town in Santa Cruz and were given free laundry services and a decent, healthy breakfast each...

We stayed two nights in Puerto Ayora at this enchanting and wonderful place. From a hug at check in to incredible breakfasts (they have fruity pebbles) we were won over by this unique hotel. You never expect to stay in a place that has two 30 somethings on their honeymoon giggling that they are staying in a castle. Our room...

Our stay at El Castillo was both wonderful and disconcerting. We were treated very well by our host and her family. They were helpful throughout our stay and didn't disappear once we were past the check-in desk. Our room was quite enchanting, shaped like a castle turret with a loft and rounded doors and windows! We had an interesting view...

We ended up here for our third night in Puerto Ayora because we could not get the boat to San Cristobal on January 1. It was an absolute delight. Owner and his wife were extremely friendly and helped us plan our day trip to the beach. Room was extremely clean and the hotel really does feel like a castle. Wish...

This place is amazing. The owner is amazing. EVERYTHING was amazing. No but seriously, cool play to stay. Easily the best place on the island, and we looked at a bunch. First, the place is a castle. Initially I couldn't really tell from the pictures on tripadvisor & other sites if the place was nice or a hole in the...

El Castillo in the Galapagos was terrific and we had a wonderful experience! The staff there was absolutely incredible and there was nothing they would not do for their guests. We had the same experience with Alejandro that other customers had, he did everything possible to accommodate our needs; Set up surfing lessons and even arranged personal tours to ALL...

We spent at El Castillo 7 nights. The biggest asset of the hotel is Alejandro, the young owner, who will do anything he can to accommodate your needs. Galapagos is NOT a typical western hemisphere location. We really loved the place, which was fairly priced, and at a great location. Hasta luego Alejandro....
