Very convenient location right on the seafront near the harbour . Rooms are very basic and slightly ramshackle but generally clean. Despite being held together with duct tape and rubber bands, the shower also worked adequately. The manager/owner lady was somewhat stern at first but actually turned out to be very helpful and accommodating. All things considered Hostal Elizabeth was... More

The people were generally nice enough to us, rooms were clean enough and had every thing we needed but the bed was SO hard I've never felt anything like it, i looked in the windows to some of the other rooms and they looked like maybe they had softer mattresses so maybe we just got unlucky I'm not sure lol.... Comfortable rooms, hot showers, great location, reasonable price. Manager was friendly at times and short with us at others but overall was a nice lady. The wifi was very temperamental. We were told this affected the whole island. This may be true so will not judge too harshly for this. The sheets were changed and the rooms cleaned daily! We... More

The place seems nice, good location. BUT. The manager of the place has a terrible attitude who just made us take our stuff and run away from there. The prices are double then the one right at back of that place with the same conditions. There are good places in the Galapagos- this place is NOT one of them.

This is a budget hostel centrally located. It was the perfect hostel for us as we were looking for something cheap (but clean and with a good location). We had a room on the fourth floor with a nice view over the harbor. No air condition in the room but for us it was enough with a fan. The hostel... More

We changed hostel after two nights to find a cheaper deal. We found it at Hostal Elizabeth. The bed was really good (but fairly small) and it was almost impossible not to bump your head somewhere going the way up the stairs to the third floor where we stayed. The bathroom was also very small, and even though the shelves... More

We spent two nights at this hostel. It was really basic but totally fine for the price of $35. I really want to emphasize that there are plenty of budget options in puerto ayora (also on Isabella and san cristobal). This is not the only one which offers a room to stay in for cheap money. You can easily arrive in... More

I really enjoyed my stay here. It's not the most perfect, its kind of loud, hot and not spotless but the people there are amazing! The owner and the staff are so helpful and kind it made our stay amazing. The views were beautiful and it was such a nice location, right on Charles Darwin Ave. There's a nice area... More

We arrived on the San Cristobal Boat mid morning very hot and tired and in the middle of a parade. We saw the Hostal Elizabeth sign from the dock and booked our stay. we were on the third floor and had a wonderful view of the bay. Very friendly staff, very very convenient location. The fan was sufficient for us,... More

This hotel is quite ok. The rooms and bathrooms are clean. The owner is very nice. The location is very good, everything is in walking distance. The wifi is slow but it works. The rooms are not very big but ok. The negative thing: the beds were very uncomfortable and it is quite noisy during the night. The price is... More
