We booked 1 night and stayed a week. Can not say a bad word about the service. Mario at the reception desk was very helpful. We did not have full breakfeasts at the hotel because most of our daily trips had quite early departures and we used speed boats, which are better on empty stomach. Hotel is perfectly located, the...

Great location and economical price. Only a few blocks from the main area of town, easy to find, quiet at night. Our room at great A/C, warm water, comfortable bed, and more space than we needed. As other reviews say, the WiFi is not so good, pretty much only works in the lobby, but the lobby is a great place...

Hotel is conveniently located close to everything, and that's about it, it wasn't a pleasant stay. No water pressure in rooms, hot water stops intermittently, sometimes no hot water at all. There are power supply issues in Galápagos Islands, sometimes they have power cuts. This hotel doesn't have a backup power option like a generator, so you just have to...

I loved the quiet, but I didn't love climbing 4 flights of stairs in the heat. I would recommend asking for a room on the first or second floor. I had a single room which was very small but perfectly acceptable. The air conditioning worked very well. The wifi doesn't work in the rooms, however. Breakfast is $5 so I...

The hotel provides the very basics. Hot water is plenty and AC strong. Poor breakfast. Don't eat here unless already included. Hotel owner also arranges tours on the Galápagos Islands. Internet speed is very slow. Okay for the price. The entire port city is within walking distance. I recommend against taking the ferry to other major islands October to January....

A few highlights from our three night stay (and we didn't even have high expectations, based on the price): 1. The sheets were not clean. We found spots of blood on the fitted sheet, so we slept in the other (smaller) bed. The next day we returned after the room had been 'cleaned' to find the same spots of blood...

This is a really great budget hotel. The air conditioners are REAL air conditioners, not dehumidifiers. Showers are hot and they don't use the electric shower heads (they're dangerous....I've been shocked before by these). Staff is very friendly and helpful. The only complaint I have, if pressed, is that the wifi only works in the common area next to reception,...

We enjoyed this hotel. Location is good, it's very, very clean and the staff are very friendly people. The room was pretty big, bed was good. Wifi could be better. We got a good deal on the price, cheaper then what we could find online. Good quality for this price.

This place is located near the tour agencies in the harbour/pier area and it is near the busy food street as well. This makes the location very good - though you will not get a room with a spectacular view. The rooms are clean and the staff is nice - you can buy breakfast at the hotel, but you might...
