A nice, inexpensive hotel. No negatives. Large, clean, quiet rooms with comfy beds. Friendly, helpful staff. Perfect location two blocks from the main pier. Most restaurants and shops less than five minutes walk. Plenty of hot water. Good AC in rooms. Inviting lobby area with painfully slow internet (an island wide problem, not so much the hotels).

Comfy bed, good A/C, hot water (though some people didn't have any), decent breakfast, good location just one block from the malecon and several restaurants - all on the plus side. On the down side, a tough haul up 4 flights of stairs with my bags, bright lights outside the room all night unless I turned them off, WiFi only...

I chose this hotel as it wasn't as expensive as a few others were and we stayed here on two occasions during our time in the Galapagos (we travelled to Isabela Island in between). I was satisfied with my stay at this hotel, the rooms were clean and had air-con, free Wifi was available but only at the reception area,...

I spent there 4 nights, 2 before my cruise and 2 after. I had trouble with the water in my shower both times. Second time it was fast to fix it but the first time I had to wait about almost 2 hours to have hot water. Instead of get another room, I had to wait. The internet was working...

Yes, be aware the back bedrooms are overlooking a building site. We were woken at 07:00 by an excavator scrapping the area & loading a wagon. So bad we moved to another hotel. We also found some of the catering staff to be very unfriendly...... no idea why 😳 It is in a good central location & handy for all...

It was OK for the price. The location was good, and the facilities were OK-ish for the price. There is no elevator, and it's set over multiple floors. Guests run up and down the stairs shouting and the noise echoes right through the hotel. The air-con in my room was fine, but it was useless in my friend's room. But...

We stayed for 5 nights in a double room with AC. The hotel is fairly big and over several floors. It is well located in the centre of Puerto Ayora. Breakfast is available at an extra cost, there is free drinking water in a dispenser in the dining room. This is common in the Galápagos as the tap water is...

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel España for four nights. It's location is great for wandering Puerto Ayora, and the room was very clean and well maintained, though with no elevator the walk up the stairs each night was a bit of a pain. The wifi is only available in the lounge area, and very slow, but it...

We booked 1 night and stayed a week. Can not say a bad word about the service. Mario at the reception desk was very helpful. We did not have full breakfeasts at the hotel because most of our daily trips had quite early departures and we used speed boats, which are better on empty stomach. Hotel is perfectly located, the...
