Wow---we spent a week at the Pikaia Lodge and it was one of the nicest places we have ever been. Breathtaking views from the rooms, the restaurant, and the pool and spa. Morning sunrises, unbelievable sunsets, a sky filled with every star (and shooting stars) imaginable and a few rain showers made this an unbelievable location. The open design of...

The views, the rooms, the experience, the food all were tremendous. The boat excursions were also spectacular! I would HIGHLY recommend for a land based excursion of the Galapagos! The hike and turtles around the Lodge is just an added bonus-also spend some time in town-very quaint and nice. We will return!

It is hard to imagine how someone could have dreamt of such a fabulous hotel, let alone to actually have realized it. The hotel is situated on a remote hill, affording an ever changing 360 degree view over a magnificent landscape of cloud forest, "savannah"-type plaines and the distant waters of the Pacific Ocean. Not disturbed by any metropolitan light...

The view is just great. The rooms are top level. Restaurant is very nice. Some times the weather is good at the beach, but bad in the middle of the island where the lodge is located. Still strong recommendation for everybody who wants to avoid skeeping on a boat. the private yacht of the hotel is perfect. We travel 15...

When you arrive at the airport, you are whisked off to a luxurious waiting area while your fees and luggage are taken care of. Then you climb into a van then onto a private ferry to cross the canal and then into your tour bus to the hotel. Pikaia Lodge is perched on the side of a hill and you...

What a spot - we didn't want to be boat-bound for our 2nd week of honeymoon, and so chose Pikaia. It's remote, and a new property run by investors who don't have a background in hospitality. Those factors do occasionally manifest themselves in minor imperfections or oversights in service. That said, the geography of the spot and the WARMTH, talent,...

Not wanting to sleep on a boat, this was a perfect home base for our Galapagos exploring. It does entail a 30+ min drive to get to the boat, but worth it to be able to hike, bike or walk during the times we were not exploring the islands and the wildlife. Beautiful location at the top of the island...
