What a delight to spend several evenings in a tent on stilts to afford ocean view and be surrounded by a cloud forest. It feels like you are the only one on the property as I couldn't even see the nearest tent because of the full foliage. Gourmet dinner was wonderful and visit from the chef during dinner made it...

Arlene- Thank you so much for your glowing review. We are most impressed to hear that you have been following us for 5 years and finally had the chance to come visit! It has been quite a development from when we started! We originally started as just a lodge, but based on demand from guests started to offer customized touring...

As part of my husbands 50th birthday suprise trip to the Galapagos, we stayed here for 3 nights in October. It turned out that we were the only ones at the camp and we had a magical time as everything was perfect. The attention to detail and little touches made our stay. The tone was set by the personal greeting...

Dear TravelKel- We were so pleased you were able to share this special event with your husband at Galapagos Safari Camp. Thank you so much for sharing your experience with the tripadvisor community. The diving is fantastic off of Santa Cruz and we get more and more divers staying with us pre or post cruise since you are not allowed...

We stayed here in April and it was incredible. From the moment we were greeted by Katrien at the entrance to our escorted departure at the airport, every detail was looked after. The weather was incredible and we had beautiful vistas from our tent to the water. Every excursion was well planned and Katrien worked around our schedule changes with...

Dear CalgaryWanderLost- Thank you so much for a very succinct review of your experience with us. Absolutely, Katrien is amazing as is instantly clear if you read through the reviews. How nice you had a day to enjoy the pool and property to yourself! Did you know that when David Attebborough came to the Galapagos to film his documentary for...

The Safari Camp is based on the west side of the Highlands of Santa Cruz. So first warning is that you do get the famed highlands cloud and mist, but being to the west there is a greater than likely chance that you will miss the worst of it. We stayed for three nights and enjoyed three gorgeous sunsets -...

You were some of the very first guests to stay in our newly refurbished tents so it gives us such great pleasure to receive your feedback! The tent expansion and refurbishment has been a project for over a year, nothing is simple in the Galapagos! But we most like that you noticed the difference that sets us apart comes not...

Two years of planning came to fruition this June/July when I took a school group of 30 people comprised of 7 families (and some teachers) to visit the Galapagos region, along with the mountains and equatorial rainforest regions of Ecuador. The families had a time of their lives and I was more than grateful for the excellent service and attention...

Dear Malcolm- It was our absolute pleasure to work with you in organizing this trip for students of the Sydney Grammar School - and it turned out wonderfully! Stayed for four nights in late August. Excursions were expertly planned and returned at the end of the end of the day to an oasis. Dinner each night by Sebastian was heaven and Katrine was fantastic at ensuring every detail for our day trips were covered. This place is special - just go.

We had two tents, family vacation, several days, with a dad, daughter 30, and son 13 who is especially interested in nature, birds, lizards, plants, and turtles. Most remarkable is that the staff were so 150% dedicated, meetings each returning guest each day at the entryway, offering cold fresh-squeezed blackberry juices and the like, and offering snorkeling gear, maps, advice,...

This stunning hotel set up in the mountains is a wonderful way to feel closer to nature. Keep in mind it's a long way from town and that there is animals but only a few birds so don't expect a whole safari. It takes it's concept from the African safari camps and each tent is totally luxury with running water,...

Thank You JonnyDodge for your wonderful comments and your good advice. It is correct that the day yacht trips to surrounding uninhabited islands need to be booked with us in advance and that including these makes for a more complete Galapagos experience. We appreciate you taking the time to share your satisfaction with the TripAdvisor community.

Thank you for your contribution. We wish you were able to spend more time with us also.
