Clean rooms, very, very friendly and helpful people! The hostal is located at the end of the village, so it's very quiet and silent. 5-minutes walk to the center of the village, and one minute to the beautiful peach! They also have bikes for rent and laundry service. I stayed 10 days in Hostal La Jungla and enjoyed it very...

I spent 5 days with Sandra at La Jungla. I had a really nice room with an amazing view of the sea and palm trees out front. It was very well priced and is far enough out of town to be completely relaxing yet just a walk to restaurants etc. Sandra and Priscilla are lovely and were really helpful during...

The rooms in the newer building have beautiful ocean views, the rooms in the older part of the hotel are more modest, but still very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is not included in the price, but is well worth the money - real (not instant) coffee or tea, eggs, bread, jam and fruit juice. Sandra, the manager speaks English...

We're a couple of "backpacker" travellers looking for a chill place--along the beach, if possible-- that's clean and quiet. There were hostels on the beach close to the plaza and that had their own bar offering great beats and a vibrant social scene. We wanted a quiet place (picture a place where you could swing in a hammock and read...

As observed by others La Jungla is nicely located close to the beach at the edge of town. The hotel manager is helpful and knowledgeable. What makes me complain is the fact , that I had to go twice through lengthy discussions with the manager about unclear conditions using the bicycles and the (very early) check out. To avoid, double...

Searched really long for a cheap stay. Found it in "la jungla" for 30 usd per night, per room (2 persons). Price doesn't includes any food or beverages, which is normal for the island. Unfortunately the kitchen can't be used by guests. Still, the place is super nice and clean. Hostel is directly at the beach and offers an amazing...

FINALLY somewhere on the Galapagos where we didn't feel like walking cash machines for the business operators. Sandra was a fantastic host and runs a wonderful hostal. Our room was delightful and clean and the bathroom lovely. And she gave us a really good price for 6 people. Sandra cooked a mean breakfast for a good price too! She knows...

At the far end of town, but close to the beach, it is a cheap place to stay that offers value-for-money breakfasts and a comfortable, though basic, place to stay. Free wi-fi was included, and each room has its own private bathroom which though small is sufficient. My room also included a free gecko and cockroach (which I didn't mind,...

I traveled to Isabela for one with a group of students. We had a wonderful stay at La Jungla! The rooms were clean and very spacious. We had a beautiful view of the ocean and fell asleep to the sound of waves on the beach. I hope to spend more time on Isabela and would definitely return to La Jungla.

Amazing viene, amazing beach and amazing Sandra. Here you have everything. Relax, good breakfast, bike to rent, sun, sea, and the helpful Sandra, she is the manager, a guide, biologist, chef, most helpful person I have met in Ecuador. Good deal. If you can choose the "Algodon" room.
