Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Everything was great: service, room, location. But there were two issues. One in room 469 Ocean Tower- mold inside window. They stopped carrying conditioner. For those of us with limited carry ons and luggage - we are nickeled and dined on flights now. If you are going to provide tissues, soap, body lotion and shampoo, why are you stopping conditioner? Ditch the body lotion and boom you can offer conditioner. The last thing people want is hunting for a gift shop or drugstore that Sells conditioner.

We always stay at Resorts and have a great time. Mostly stay in the Rendezvous Tower as the bathroom is the attraction there : ) .....It may not be the most modern of hotels or biggest casino but my room is always clean and if I request extra towels or soap it is always promptly delivered. The location is also great, enjoy walking on the Boardwalk and visiting the Steel Pier. The only downside of Resorts is dining choices....I wish there were more and the ones they have should be open more often example Breadsticks is closed Tues & Weds. your breakfast options just went out the window unless you want to eat in a food court and I don't! Resorts has always treated me right, I will continue my annual AC trips at Resorts!

Fantastic New Year's Eve! My compliments to Resorts Casino and Hotel for their New Years Eve celebration. Given the choice between the party in the Ocean Ballroom or dinner and a show in the theater we selected dinner and a show. Dinner at Capriccio's was wonderful. Good service and good food...what more can you ask for. Then a couple hours following dinner we attended the show...Forever Motown. The show was upbeat throughout. The inclusion of the original performers projected on the side screens added to the memories. The singers, dancers, and narrator all were top notch. Thank you for the memories!!

Only down comment from that weekend...is a reminder to the Resorts staff. Flu, cold, and Covid seasons are not done and gone. Please refill hand sanitizer machines and please bring your large containers of wipes back . The wipes allow the customer to wipe down a machine BEFORE using it. You would be amazed the way people will cough and sneeze while playing a machine. I would like to wipe it down. Also what has happened to all the individually wrapped hand wipes?
Thank you!

I dined on Saturday evening and was pleasantly surprised by both the quality and quantity of the meal as well as the outstanding service provided by Eden. So much so that I returned on Sunday at 3:20 pm to find a totally different experience. I ordered the same meal: The salad, entree, and dessert were a quarter of the portions in size. The lettuce in the salad was brown and wilted and should not have been served. My server was more involved speaking to her peers about the customer who "walked out without paying seated at the very same table I was seated at earlier" than attending to me. The beverage staff was more focused on removing my glass of water and uneaten salad "clearing the table so that she and her colleagues were able to leave on time, at closing, at 4 pm. I was rushed and hurried so much so that I opted to take the dessert "to go:" It was 2 tablespoons in portion (bread pudding) when I opened the container in my room.

If they were running out of the meal I ordered, I should have been advised in advance to have the option of ordering sonmething else.

Note that I called in advance to confirm that this restaurant stopped seating at 4 pm rather than stopped serving at 4 pm. Apparently, the staff working thought and acted otherwise.

Because of the blatant inconsistencies in the quality and quantity of food and service experienced in less than 24 hours, I cannot recommend Bread Sticks.

I recommend that the servers also key in the advertised discount for Epic Players ($15.00) on the check. The cashiers on both days were very annoyed that they had to process the check twice to reflect the $4.99 discount. No apologies verbalized either day. Poor Customer Service.

I will not be returning anytime soon.

Time for Resorts to update some things. We often stay in Rendezvous Tower and the cleaning staff should note things within the rooms. Perhaps they should have check list. Drapes don't always work properly and when the light shines you can see the holes in the drapes. Often light bulbs are burned out and TV remotes do not work. Recently our safe did not work. We called for repair. The repair person who showed up did little to nothing and was not worth our wait. We ended up with no safe all weekend even though their were plenty of empty rooms to switch out the safe and note the room where the repair was needed. I lay odds that safe is STILL not fixed and if the lazy Maintenace person is still there no one even knows about it.
The slot machines can use attention. The poker machines need refreshing and some new games. These are boring boring boring!!

My wife and I travelled with my in laws to Atlantic City for a quick 2-day trip. We were unable to book a hotel in advance so upon arrival we began our search for a hotel stay.

We stopped into several hotels (Bally’s, Holiday Inn, Caesar’s Palace, Tropicana) But the cost per night was outrageously expensive once you factored in resort fees plus taxes and fees ($400/night) .

We ended up stopping at Resorts Casino Hotel and got what we thought to be a great rate. Their computer system was down at the time so we could not check in right away.
I then quickly booked online (through booking.com on my phone) and went to the check in desk. We waited an hour and a half to check in (that’s how long the system took to come back on) . But once the computer systems were back up, we had early check in and headed up to our room (Room 264)

Now online I was able to book an Ocean Tower Deluxe King Room But because we were celebrating two special occasions (my in laws wedding anniversary and my mother in laws birthday) the front desk graciously upgraded our room to an Ocean Tower junior suite.
This room consisted of two queen beds, two bathrooms (one full one half), a small living room area, two large closets, bedside tables and a small dining area. The room was beautiful and spacious!

Due to the hotel being “booked”, ocean view rooms were not available so the view from our room was of the roof of the connecting building and of the windows of the adjacent hotel tower. Needless to say we kept our curtains drawn the whole time to avoid having that awful view.

Resorts hotel is right on Atlantic City’s boardwalk and so there were always things to see and do within walking distance. Ripley’s museum was nearby and the amusement park on the pier was right in front of the hotel.

We had dinner at the hotel one evening at Dougherty’s Steakhouse and raw bar (opting to dine on the Raw Bar side as they has live music that evening)
Dinner for 4 ran us about $300. Which included appetizers, drinks and main courses. Our waitress was delightful.

All in all for a short trip we were very pleased with the service at the Resorts hotel and would definitely stay there again.

Even at a “discounted” rate it wasn’t worth $150/n plus taxes....and fees.,. Prepaid. Then another $22.73/n Resort fees. Limited pool access, dirty, w/ mold on glass roof, hot tub closed, only outdoor dining w/ 3 hour waits if you get there early enough to not be turned away. Room service stops before 11pm. I can’t fathom what I’m paying the additional fee for. When I expressed my disappointment to the manager she was unconcerned. Btw - the non smoking room reeks of stale old smoke.

My husband and I haven’t been to Atlantic City in probably 30 years. But he had a two night conference in Resorts Hotel and Casino. So we made a trip of it. For the most part, we were fairly pleased with our stay. But there were some negatives, as well.

Our room in the hotel was very large, very clean and very comfortable! We also had a side view of the ocean, which was a bonus. The bed was especially comfortable and the room very quiet. We did not hear any noise from neighboring rooms or even the hallway. The room was equipped with a large flat-screen television, refrigerator, and coffee maker. The walk-in closet was huge. Our one problem with our room was the bathroom, which was the size of a postage stamp. You couldn’t sit on the toilet correctly, but you had to turn sideways or your legs would hit the door. The vanity didn’t have enough room for things like your toothbrush or a cup. And the blow dryer that was in the bathroom didn’t work.

There was quite a variety of different restaurants for every budget and taste, starting with the food court and ending with Dougherty’s Steakhouse and Raw Bar. There are also some retail stores in the hotel. I took advantage of Essentials when I realized that I forgot to pack a toothbrush. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that a toothbrush only set me back less than $2. At a resort, I was expecting double or triple that.

We also spent some time in the casino, although we did not gamble. Smoking is still allowed on the casino floor, so it could be oppressive. Even areas that were marked no-smoking smelled of smoke. Both nights we were there, there didn’t seem to be a lot of action on the casino floor.

One morning, I took a short walk on the boardwalk. It was 11 AM and I have to admit that I didn’t feel totally safe while doing so.

In replaying our trip, my husband and I decided that maybe we should start checking out the shows in Atlantic City and spending a night. Not sure if we would return to Resorts or try another casino/hotel in AC. I guess it depends on the show…

Checking in was nice and wet Willie's was great parking free excellent
Dirty rug in the room
Saw 2 roaches
Water pressure was low and not hot
They tried to give me dirty towel
Outlets were weak and not strong enough to charge a phone
Only two lamps not enough light
And with all this AC is mostly for adults but to make the pool have limited hours because they rather the adults pay for drinks instead of their guest to have a good time. Then the pool staff is young and rude. To not let guest bring the towels up to their room and they have the room number even if you agree to bring them back is not allowed is unreasonable.
Never again I wish I took pics

We used a groupon and got the room for under $100 for one night. The deal included a $20 dining voucher that we didn’t end up using but it is an option! The room was clean and spacious but there was no fridge. It was especially convenient having a room so close to the casinos because we drank and played all night. It was an easy trip back to the room.
