No expectations and got what we expected. It was a warm night but all the beds had fans. It was clean, okey shower and a useful kitchen and handout area. It's good location to the center and to the market where some of the buses goes from and helpful employees!

Staying here was not a pleasant experience. The room was dirty and dusty. There are fans but the rooms are nonetheless very hot. The bathrooms were dirty and extremely run down. There was no breakfast or coffee available. The staff were polite and the place is cheap but I still wouldn't recommend it.

We spent one night in the dorm, the bed is 22000 breakfast included but although it's cheap it's not the money worth! Beds have a plastic cover so you sweat extremely and the room has only a small window,it's really hot and bed air in there. The hostel is located in the city centre, staff speaks only Spanish and seems...

Good things first: The hostel is compared to others in Santa Marta really cheap. The Stuff is helpfull and the beds are nice. At the other hand I think its really poor from a Hostel to charge 3000 pesos from you to use the toilet after check out. So I would not recommend this Hostel.

We were 5 friends that stayed for one night, the location is one of the worst places to stay in Santa Marta, the room was soooo hot and it even had a laundry machine inside!!!! They told us they served breakfast from 7 to 9, but It was 8 when we asked for our breakfast and the receptionist spent 30...

The hostel was near to the sea shore and the city centre good location, the staff was very friendly and helful, thanks to the man in charge and his wife, they were nice and kind, but the hostel needs an AC so badly I couldnt sleep in the night since it is a hot place, the rooms were dark and...

This hostel has a lot of good advantages, the dormitorio are quite big, the breakfast is good and simple and the price is highly competitive. Moreover, the staff was quite joyful and relatively helpful. We were 5 friends and we were occupying the entire dormitorio for two Nights. The only person that had the key of our room was the...

Whenever I go back to Santa Marta, I always stop in to Candela y Chocolate for the night. It's relatively cheap compared to the other hostels in historical centre (CP$22,000 with breakfast), but is isn't why I go back. I feel at home in this wonderful little hostel. I've become good friends with the lovely couple that run it and...

It is not a fancy hostel, but it is good. It is perfect for the price and you have breakfast. You can find better hostels in Santa Marta but they are more expensive. I just stay for 1 night and my flight was at 10pm the next day, the staff let me stay my baggage in the hostel until I...
