I don't think you should go to the rain forest looking for thrills, but a stay at Finca Barlovento will give you more than just beautiful views, it provides enough comfort to let you appreciate everything around you. We had a suite in the cabana which means that it is you the waves, a few fans and not much else....

I reserved a cabana facing the ocean. The hotel arranged a taxi driver to pick us up from the airport and from there it was about a 40 minute drive. there isn't much to see on the way and getting there I was a bit concerned as there wasn't really a front desk where we checked in or got an...

The property is incredible, the style and decor is beautiful. The location is one of the most peaceful location you can ask for. The views, sunset and sounds of nature are amazing. I love the relaxed atmosphere that has been created. I also enjoyed the food breakfast and dinner was amazing. I had the most amazing massage from the owners...

My partner and I recently spend two nights at Finca Barlovento in the cabana. It was amazing! The house is incredible. We loved the common area with the hammocks and watching the waves and surfers. The food was the best we ate in all of Colombia, particularly the curried chicken. The staff work hard to keep the house so clean...

I got room # 1, the only A/C room, i recommend cause it can get pretty hot some times, excellent location, beach + river in one place !! There are many near beaches you can algo visit, walking distance, and very nice people serve you all the time. Be sure to carry other foods beside the main meals, cause there...

Definitly the Highlight of our Trip. Everything was so relaxed and beautiful. It is one of the best spots in this area to stay some days. The food is nice, the personal is friendly, the location is amazing!

The Moloka property was great, super relaxing with a gorgeous view and delicious food. The only disappointing part is that the three different hotels on this property aren't sufficiently connected, so for example, you have to pay a lot to enter the the suites property to use their beautiful pool. Just be sure of which hotel you're staying at and...

We spent three nights here and enjoyed almost every minute. The room was perfect - very comfortable and mostly private. We loved the feeling of sleeping & showering in a treehouse, with the sound of waves crashing and all kinds of bird life. Meals were solidly good (breakfasts & dinners) - not mind-blowing but tasty and pretty healthy, too. Fresh...

What a gorgeous setting, just on the eastern edge of Tayrona (it literally takes 5-10 mins in the car to one of the entrances to the park). Communal eating was a nice touch and the food was delicious ! The room was very spacious as well as clean. Although the staff don't speak English, they were helpful and very understanding....

If you scroll through other reviews you'll get a pretty good idea for this place. In short, it is one of the most beautiful locations and a truly unique property. If you stay in the cabanas (the house right on the beach), it's a rustic experience. If you can deal with some inconveniences (which we considered minor), you will love...
