We stayed in Aluna hostel for several nights and if I would Come back in santa marta I would definately stay here again. Nice atmosphere, excellent and very friendly staff! Kitchen is very basic, but ok for a very simple meal. It's not a party hostel, esp suitable for couples. You can leave your Bags at The hostel when you...

Aluna is a cute little place owned by two Irish brothers, with some locals working at the front desk as well as at the cute lovely cafe' at the ground floor (breakfast not included but good). Rooms are basic, although they have small nice touches, but they are clean. The rooms on the second floor are better, wider and with...

We ended up there after moving from a terrible hotel down the road. It is rather nice and welcoming The room we were first given hadn't been cleaned but we were quickly moved to another one so it was OK. Not sure what they would have done if there hadn't been another room available. Overall the place is OK for...

We had planned on staying only one night but ended up here for three days. Large rooms, clean and quiet. We did hear people packaging up one morning but it was more their enthusiasm vs the rooms. Would definitely be back.

Little caffe next door has some great food and juice for anyone not interested in trying out the street meat and the rooms have fans...

The staff spoke English and were extremely helpful with where to go to eat and what attractions to see. We had breakfast at the cafe and was very nice and pretty cheap. I would highly recommend...

Aluna is a really friendly place in a good location of this small town. Rooms are clean, staff is very friendly and professional at the same time. However, it is really the mix of guests that actually sets Aluna apart from other hotels/hostels there. Offering the typical mix of private rooms and dorm, there are more private rooms than typically...

This is a great little hotel/hostel. We stayed in the private room with bathroom, there were also shared dorm rooms that we saw. The room was clean and neat. There was a puddle on the floor in the bathroom, and there was no head in the shower so it poured out like a hose - small details though. We had...
