Firstly, the beds are the most comfy I have stayed in in south america. The owner is so helpful and guided us through all to do in medellin, and colombia in general. The bar is super cheap and the kitchen is awesome. Would always stay here when coming to colombia and would highly recommend to everyone else. The owner, told...

The hostel is clean and spacious. They arrange multiple activities for guests which is good. The surrounding area is mostly residential and secure. Is near la 70 but far away from El Poblado area. A Metro station is near as well as restaurants and a supermarket. We were a group of 5 people staying in a room of 6 with...

Hey Angel. Thanks for the comment. I believe there was a misunderstanding. We never charged you extra for the bed, we simply just warned you that if you continued to use the bed you would be charged. Since you did not, you were not charged upon checkout. We have no record of charging you or anyone in your group extra....

The Wandering Paisa Hostel is one of the best (if not the best) hostel in Medellin. The owner Brent is super nice and a great guy. Their weekly events are always a great time. I've never felt so at home in a hostel. The dorms and bathrooms are really clean, the showers are hot, the kitchen is really well equipped, and the staff are really helpful and warm. The location is great too in a vibrant part of the city. The bar is the perfect place to meet people. The bar man was especially...

I ve made a long stay in this great hostel, the staff was amazing, the ambiance is really cool with a lot activities like karaoke night, open mic night, salsa lessons, a bar is open everday inside the hostal always running by cool people. The Area is really colombian fare from the poblado area.

Everyone is so friendly and inclusive at this hostel! The area is less touristy but doesn't have the charming vibe of Pablado. Huge plus of the area is the stadium complex, be sure to visit for a workout, football match or just to people watch. No complaints about the rooms, bar has good prices and most people speak Spanish, great...

Wandering Paisa was an awesome place to spend the weekend in Medellin. Great place to meet other travelers, have a beer, watch some futball. Highly recommend this hostel if you're looking to stay in the laureles area. Lots of great clubs in the area and little salsa bars with live music. Clean, spacious, bright rooms as well. Bathrooms are limited...

I was staying at El Poblado area before I came to laureles, and I enjoyed this area much more than the last. It feels more calm and there are more local places to go to. The hostel was amazing, they have plenty of showers and restrooms, rooms were nice and clean, they have satellite TV, Nintendo, staff was very friendly,...

I was very pleased with this hostel. The staff are wonderful and so are the people that go there. I do agree with other reviews that some of the shared rooms have too many beds- especially when it's hot. The bathrooms are small but kept well clean. The hostel offers different forms of entertainment and the staff are very helpful...
