We booked this place before we arrived in Medellin based on a recommendation in Lonely Planet. It is located close to city central and the Prado metro stop is only a few blocks away. The rooms were large, clean, and a great value for the price. The staff was friendly and accommodating even though we only speak a little Spanish....

I booked this guesthouse for the strong reviews and great prices. We were not disappointed! The foyer area is very well decorated and relaxing with ambient music playing all the time. The restaurant makes wonderful food at great prices - we ate dinner here every night. There is excellent wifi throughout the building, and the rooms are a great size....

I saw mention of this guesthouse on a traveller's blog so booked it. It's a wonderful relaxed place with great rooms and really comfortable beds. Decent bathrooms. Good common areas and a nice restaurant. Staff are very friendly and helpful and the other guests sociable! The area has a bit if a reputation but I found it safe and convenient.

This little gem is a wonderful place to stay inn Medellin, Colombia. The city is very interesting with lot see. 61 Prado is well situated to explore the many fates of the city by being close to the very efficient Metro System. I arrived rather late in the day so going out and finding some place to eat wasn't on the top of my list of things to do. Enter their onsite kitchen and dinning room - they prepare delicious breakfasts and dinners right in the hotel. The rooms were very spacious for a solo traveler like myself. Overall the hotel was...

Spacious spotlessly clean en suite rooms with an enormous bed (bit hard but thats nit picking). And quiet! Television in rooms too if that's of interest. Lovely common area to relax with nice atmosphere, small bar and kitchen which u have use of. Breakfast is very decent and very good value at $8000. Staff very friendly and helpful. Exceptional value...

This very recommendable, charming accommodation offers rooms with a private bathroom. The staff is helpful and extremely welcoming. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The place is quiet and has nice areas where you can sit and have coffee. They serve a tasty breakfast for 8000COP. I would definitely go back during my next visit to Medellin.

We stayed in 61 Prado for two nights when travelling through Central and South America. # Look and Feel - looks like a normal house from the outside - Very nice, relaxed atmosphere inside the hotel - excellent and very homely and comfortable lobby area - Prado quarter is not the most fancy neighbourhood, but authentic (compared to the rather...

We stayed at Prado61 for 7nights and are happy we did. The decor is very nice and historic touches of the home have been saved. The neighborhood is not the most scenic but it is only 3-4 blocks from the wonderful metro system which takes you everywhere. The guesthouse is immaculate and very quiet plus the rooftop has spectacular views...

The 61Prado has nice rooms, especially the suite is very spacious. The bathroom would need renovation. The whole property is in a good condition. What I don't understand is the condition of the roof terrace from where you have stunning views, especially in the evening. Unfortunately zou find a plastic chair and that's it... The enclosed restaurant is a top...
