I stayed here for almost a month as compared with the other options in the area for the same budget it was the best to me. It's in the very centre of the "Poblado" neighborhood, the most westernized and safe area - mostly populated by foreigners - with restaurants and night life. To go to the city old center, with...

Good hostel with relatively competitive prices in a popular area (Poblado) of medellin. Our room was very spacious with big sliding windows (although the double bed was a bit small), bathrooms, kitchen were clean & the ladies at check in seemed friendly..they were even happy to store our backpacks here the day before we actually checked in...only downside is no...

Cheap dorms for an expensive part of town. Clean simple hostel. Kind, helpful staff. Free coffee in the mornings and a decent kitchen open to use. Close to a bunch of bars and restaurants in a nice quiet neighborhood and a 15 min walk from the metro to get anywhere in the city. Small rooftop terrace (no views).

Overpriced: $50,000 for a room with no form of cooling, not even a fan. Service: Must be a foreign word, because they don't know about it. Noise: The walls are made from crepe paper. Breakfast: You certainly don't get that. .5/10 = Do not stay.

This is a tight run and efficient hostel. If you are touring by bike or foot, they have a a secure garage to keep your bike. It is located ideally in Pablado, and you will find great dining spots only a few paces away. The staff is very helpful and can help you with travel plans. They keep a tight...

For the same price as others hostel in the area, this one is really bad,the common area are sad, it's not a place where you want to stay. And the staff was horrible (2 out of 3 were horrible), here is what happened to us: We arrived late at night and the receptionnist asked us to pay directly (fair enough),...

I am a man that wanted to stay in a nice relaxing place to work while abroad. I have medical conditions and special needs. Not only did they not accommodate my needs but I was moved from bed to bed in order to suit their needs instead of my own. They did not consider my pain or movement. They didn't...

Ended up having to come here after arriving late one night in Medellin and Casa Kiwi being booked... The room we got was big, but with no window opening outside, just windows that opened above the kitchen. Considering the weather outside wasn't that hot, the room was stuffy which therefore meant we had to open the window - this then...

I stayed at Tamarindo as part of a group tour in May 2013 for 2 nights. The hostal is in a good location, close to Parque Lleras (full of restaurants, bars, cafes) and easy walking distance to the metro station. The room was clean, but our room had no exterior windows. The interior "window" faced the front desk of the...

I stayed at the Tamarindo B&B on Carerra 33 for 5 nights. Natalie & Ramiro are both great! While Natalie speaks fluent English, Ramiro does not- but it's not a problem, coz he will help you out no matter what! The B&B is super clean, the rooms are big. My bathroom (room no. 2) was a little small and my...
