I've stayed at 3 different hostels in Medellin and this hostel is by far the most fun I've had! The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly! Anny and Lilly are a great help. The new owner is in the process of turning this hostel into one of Poblado's best hostels. Hiring travelers to do the transformation makes it a great...

I spent 3 months on and off at this hostel, working volunteering for 2 of these. The people and friendly atmosphere here keeps people in Medellin! You can party 2 blocks away, grab the tube to the centre within 20 minuets or relax in the spacious TV room. The hostel itself is spacious bright and clean; recently refurbished. Prices are...

The guy who owns the place is a nice guy and it seemed that he tried to make sure people were enjoying themselves. One of the guys who worked at the front desk was very incompetent. He would drink and not remember requests the next day (e.g. I asked if there was a bed for me to extend my stay),...

Hi! Thanks for your review. Yes, we were having problems with this one particular employee and decided it was best to let them go. The hostel is in the process of a renovation so yes, there is working going on within the hostel to make it better for the guests. We do also have a cleaning staff who clean on...

Hi, Sorry you didn't enjoy your experience in our hostel. The dorms are only 6 beds per room as we prefer the dorms not to be so big. Though, each dorm has a window (whether it's a large or small one). The private room you stayed in had a normal bed. The "extra" mattress in your room is there as...

Upon arrival I noticed a sign 'free giveaways for trip advisor reviews'. Says it all really. You get what you pay for. Very cheap hostel if only staying a night. pros: clean beds, hot showers cons: very run down, wasn't cleaned on Sunday - no toilet paper in shared facilities all day despite asking multiple times, no real social scene,...

Hi, Sorry you didn't enjoy your time with us. Asking for reviews is quite common in many hostels and I can assure you many hostels do this and we are not the only. It's a way to promote your business. We don't ask for a positive review, we ask for an honest review whether it's positive or negative. We have...

We stayed in Tiger Paw in early August 2015. There was 10 of us in total, all Irish and we had a fantastic time for our 4 night stay. The hostel was just what we needed, literally a 3-4 minute walk from Parque Lleras and next door to shops and restaurants, El Poblado is definitely the place to be in...

Great little hostel, a 2 minute walk from the main park with all the hostels and bars, means you have the benefit of a chilled and quiet place to crash, and a great night out. Really clean, great staff, has a bar to chill with other guests in the evening. On my first night in Medellin, went out with the...

Hostel was clean, our room was nice, the atmosphere is sociable and the location is good. The area is fantastic, lots of bars and restaurants and it takes 20 mins to walk to the metro station (or you can take a bus). Breakfast was good value for money, and there is free coffee. Staff were lovely.
