Phenomenal hotel. Stylish, chic and comfortable. The owners are almost anal about details. Everything is perfect: from the rooms (impossibly high ceilings, good internet connection), to the furnishings, to the conditioner in the huge shower (best damn conditioner I've ever tried; should have asked where they got it). Sergio, one of the owners, saw me sipping a "limonada de coco,"...

I agree with the previous reviewer: I don't know what other people are expecting for their money but the Agua is so fantastically chic and stylish, so amazingly authentic and unusual...it is a real gem that I enthusiastically recommend to all. Plus it's not that expensive compared to other accomodations of similar level in the city? It is located in...

I really don't know what some people expect for their money but I can tell that I've been very positively surprised for what I got for my money. The hotel is just stunning, beautiful, magic... It's a old town house which is renovated in total style - it can't be better! The inside patio is nice to sit and relax...

The Agua is not a B&B. It is a very stylish, beautiful boutique hotel in a stunning colonnial house. I believe it was one of the first boutique hotels in Cartagena and with few rooms it doesn't have to fight for custom....which is its main problem. It is far too expensive. Having come in from much cheaper Bogota, Cartagena knows...

The place it's absolutelly beautiful, it's a nice colonial house, with a great pool on the roof. The rooms are very big and neat, and the breakfast is delicious (make sure you get hungry after 8 am, because that's when they start serving breakfast !!!) However you are paying almost US$400 for a hotel in Colombia!!!! give me a break!...

Though it's called Agua Bed and breakfast this lovely boutique hotel is as luxurous as it can be. It has 7 rooms, and a lovely terrace with a smal swimming pool and beautiful sight seeings. The staff is GREAT especially Sergio, the manager. We also enjoyed a womderful massage and of course the best is the breakfast which must be...

“It is on the expensive side. The view from the window is to an interior patio and a corridor inside the hotel. The decoration of the hotel has been done with a lot of taste and attention to detail.”

“Get room 5 if you can, it is on the internal courtyard and quiet and with a really good size bathroom. Room 4 is small and with only a shower.”

“Room 1 was good, it had a balcony (though you couldn't sit on it and it overlooked the courtyard, not the street). Can't comment on any othe room as I never saw them.”
