we payed 60,000 pesos for a double room which is cheaper than most hostels. The room was clean with private bathroom. The Internet didn't work the whole time we were there which was a disappointment since we needed it.

It is an average hostel, the rooms don't have air conditioner they have ventilators. The hostel isn't made for young people, they don't allow you to have music after 11pm. I got the impression that they prefer adults, but the hostel facilities doesn't show those preferences because it's made for young people. The positive aspect that it is quite clean.

Incredible what people put up with, just because they say its cheap. We asked the taxu driver upon arrival to take us to a cheap hostel. Hearing fro. Everyone else that cartagena is oh so expensive we thought 50.000 for a double roo with bathroom is quite ok. The room is crazy hot, no a/c only a fan that is...

Sara, makes you feel home at this simple hostel at 5 minutes walking distance from the walled city. Within the walls a similar room would cost 5 times more. A single for 30000 pesos a double 60000 pesos, (15 or 30 US$). It is my second home in Colombia.

We stayed here 5 nights and had a really pleasant experience. The rooms were clean (and they offered to clean them daily), the atmosphere in the hostel was cool, it is a 7 minutes walk to the old city, and it has good kitchen and WiFi facilities. The owners were also very helpful when needing information. I would definitely come...

Rooms are light and spacious. Staff are friendly and have a good local knowledge although hardly any english. The location for value is excellent (20, 000 pesos for room with toilet, shower and fan but no TV). Restaurants close by give some of the best eating/value in Cartagena.

A pretty basic hostel. I stayed in a single room, ensuite, 5 nights. Good ceiling fan. The hostel got a little noisy in the early morning when a room near mine fired up its TV. The room was not cleaned the 5 days I stayed there. The two pillows had no give, they were like bricks. No chair in room....

Unless you like paying money for squalor avoid at all costs. The rooms and bathrooms were un cleaned, the door into the "private bathrooms" were see-through and he air conditioning was like sleeping next to a jet engine. There is nothing nice to say

This lovely old building has potential but sadly it is in a bad state and filthy! The extended family all live there so all I can say is they have a very low level of cleanliness. The dorm is awful, the beds are horrible, it has no windows and the toilet area is very dirty and does not have a...
