I planned to stay only 1 week in Cali but like many other people, I got stuck here for 2 months! 1 month did I spend at Jovitas and I loved it. The people & atmosphere is great! Excellent location of the hostel, amazing salsa teachers (ended up taking daily private lessons, made my whole trip!) and easy to meet...

stayed here for one night only - pretty average hostal, no salsa classes as it was Sunday, private room was average with only a small window up above the door so no air circulation - got pretty hot in the middle of the night! think we paid COP 40,000 for double private room, no bathroom

Ok, it can be a bit noisy every now and then, but for us Jovita's was the place to be in Calí. A extremely friendly staff, a gorgeous courtyard, WIFI and and a huge private room for just $45.000,-. And all of this in San Antionio, with the city centre 5 minutes walking away. Did I mention the free yoga...

I loved this hotel! It's near one of my favourite parts of Cali, and a park nearby with one of the best views of Cali and nice restaurants even including vegetarian restaurants. Jovita's was a really nice place to hang out, rain or shine and having fun activities like salsa and yoga were great too. I hope to come back...

This hostel needs to update their website. Their website shows photos of a charming building with lovely gardens and comfortable private rooms. When we arrived, we were greeting by a less-than-charming courtyard, inadequate bathrooms, a dirty kitchen and bedroom where the doors did not close and the bed was better suited to a prison. The charming building advertised on their...
