My team and I stayed at the Greenland Hotel for 7 nights in August for a business trip. The location of the hotel is good and it is walkable distance to the city center, where you can find lots of restaurants and stores. Taxis are also easy to catch. Food at the Rainbow restaurant was also very nice. The one... More

As part of a tour we were booked in at this hotel. I think I would describe it as clean and comfortable but very tired in appearance. There were several steps leading up to the entrance without handholds but a porter available to help with luggage. In the room we played with the light switches to find out what lit... More

Organised as part of a tour. Corner room on 30th floor, spacious and lots of natural light. Able to open windows which was needed because air conditioner was stuck on 26 degrees for the whole time and wouldn't budge despite setting lower temperature on control panel. Bath/shower combo which had a high step, and not very functional as shower managed... More

Stayed as part of a tour and was third of four, large room and bed but bed was quite hard although not a problem to me, the room was maybe a little dated but clean and serviceable, the lighting was poor and maybe my worst gripe, when arriving late in the day with no natural light it became difficult to... Room is quite spacious, but can tell that the property is quite old. Shower is hot, bathroom space generous. Has both standing shower and hot bath. Breakfast spread is reasonably good. Short flight of stairs in front of the hotel.

Stayed for 2 nights in May 2014. Nice rooms. Free Wi-Fi worked in the room. Air-con very efficient. Breakfast not great - lack of fresh fruit/fresh bread - but overall perfectly fine for a short stay.

During a recent trip to Chengdu, we stayed at the Green Land Hotel, and were very pleased with it. The hotel was very clean, the rooms well laid out and equipped. The only less than positive things were that the elevators were slow, and the air conditioning was not very cool. Even with that, I'd still recommend it!

Very good hotel for our meeting. Not so many Westerners which I like. Rooms very nice and very clean. Mattress is quite hard but fluffy pillows make it ok. Breakfast buffet with variety of Chinese plus omelettes and fruit, yogurt and cereal if you want. Elevators slow but Chengdu is known as a relaxed city.

Not a bad hotel, Rooms were very spacious and the view was very good! We were on the 30th floor it was too bad the weather didn't hold out! It was quite misty. The breakfast was the worst out of all hotels on our trip ( chicken feet at breakfast, yuck) not much westerners food.

A hotel with reasonably good rooms, although the beds are harder than my back would have wished. The rooms are nice and well furnished, although the heating did not really seem to work properly when we were there (and it was cold!). The bathroom arrangements were typically peculiar, i.e. with a glass wall allowing the room occupants a full insight... More
