A terrible stay at the Santiago Hotel. Our booking was 'lost' according to the reception staff. After much deliberation we were given a room, but this room was either another guests or it hadn't been cleaned. We were given another room key but unable to unlock the door. My booking was done by my Chinese agent in Qingdao who thought the the hotel would be ideal for a business traveller from Australia given its prime location. The hotel is falling to bits with no evidence of any maintenance. The agent booked and paid for a beach facing room but the room was not available. After much argument a... More

the hoel santiago is not good the lobby looks like old hospital wiht fake marble walls and floor, the elvetor floor cover is broken ( and i think for long time ) the room is nice size but the carpet is old and dirty the beds are very hard like a rock , the outside the hotel is in very... More
