The staff here were incredibly welcoming, and their English is one of the best I've heard in Qingdao. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and have an authentic twist to them. The complimentary beer is a nice touch.

I booked this hotel from hotels.com And the location in the map from hostels.com is wrong. And the google map was also wrong. Only the map Apple provides gave us the right location. The point i was disappointed is 1. The room smells so humid and moldy. 2. No light from window. 3. Dusty room 4. Shower facility (No bathroom... More

Yes, if you would feel comfortable to live in a giant mushroom - constantly enjoying the smell of mold - this is your place to be. Me and my husband booked two nights for 1000RMB, we were so disappointed when checking in. The dense smell of mold covers the entire room. Why all the good reviews before, we wondered? We... More

Walk to the hotel was farther than expected...part of our group found a coffee shop to relax...others ventured onward to check-in. The first part of our group did not wait at the coffee shop as discussed and got lost on the way to the hotel. I want to commend staff manager Joyce for the help she provided. She was only... More

Stayed here for 4 nights. It's a reasonably priced hotel, and we had a large room, full of beautiful furnishings. Very comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and if they couldn't speak English, they soon found someone who could. They spent a long time looking up busses for us as we were thinking of going on a day... More

China Community Art And Culture is a standard hotel in the heart of Qingdao. During our visit was evewrything perfect. Inside the Hotel is a small gallery where you can buy many products. Architecture of the hotel is verry nice.

The Hotel was very well located, close to City Area (Hong Kong Middle Road). I think the room is quite small, suitable for solo traveler. They offer bigger room I guess. But Im traveling alone, so its fine for me. The corridor to the hotel room is very old chinese style, the interior is unique in an artsy futsy way... More

A reasonably priced hotel with many western comforts and a quirky and cultural decor. We arrived early afternoon and the reception was very easy to find, it is opposite the entrance way. The entrance way is easy to recognise with large pools of fish either side of a walkway. The receptionist's level of English was excellent and they easily found... More

My fiancé and I stayed here for the first half of the october holiday week and we really enjoyed our three nights. rooms did smell a little musty as per other reviews but this is because the ground floor has an in door water feature which we both quite liked. we had no outside facing window but the atrium gave... The art and culture hotel is in the middle of a Chinese area, with plenty of nice local restaurants and cafés about. Directly over the big road (Fuzhou Nan) and second right takes you to a pedestrian area (Tianga?) with other great food with a more western flavour. You are a walk (about 15 mins?) from the harbour area which... More
