Location is great, but the service at Front Desk is so slow upon check in. Most of the staff doesn't understand English language and is very hard to communicate. Breakfast buffet spread is bad and quality of food is horrible. Guest rooms are tired and old.

The hotel is located into far from the center of Suzhou, close to all main attractions (e.g. the Master of Nets garden is at 5mn walk). When arriving we where impressed by the hotel traditional design and decorations. We stayed 2 nights in an executive room. Our first impression was excellent. The room looked luxurious and well equipped, but looking... More

Very pretty hotel surrounded by a lush garden and ponds. Our room had nice chinese decor but the bed was a bit hard. Overall a very good stay. Breakfast was ample with a lot to choose from. Away from all the busy roads but still very good position for going sight seing.

This is a lovely hotel to stay in but there is a huge language barrier as no one here speaks good English. We found No one here is able to communicate with English speaking guests. We choose a variety of hotels on our tour of China from Hilton to Intercontinental. Not being one of the typical western brands I was a little unsure of the type of room and experience we might get. The pictures looked good on the booking site and the location fairly central to attractions. When we arrived I was most impressed.... More

Bad WiFi but the Gardens are very Nice and chinese. The rooms are small but clean and the beds are hard, like almost all Chinese beds. Chinese kitchen (warm) for breakfast, not much choice for people who like their Bread in the morning. Very Nice Gardens.

This Hotel is Huge. The rooms are perfect, large, neat and clean. They have live traditional music which is fantastic to listen while you are heading to restaurant in the Hotel. You will feel the tradition by staying in this Hotel. Has a History and secret passage in the Hotel. Don't miss it. Stayed April 2014

We stayed for one nite in this hotel. Service is good. Room is in good size and clean. Bath room is huge. Design of the room is unique. Bed is quite comfortable except the lightings are little dark. Perfect room, very nice lobby, very efficient and attentive staff. Located in the most convenient part of the town when it comes to visits, there is even some sightseeing to do inside the hotel where one of the staff member will tour you around. Will come back !
