Spacious, comfortable and luxious. Nothing to complain or fault at. Will definitely return again. Soft bath robes, Good quality free slippers. comfortable bed. Good location. Pity is they do not provide spoons. Kettle yes, cups yes, tea bags yes. Why no spoon?

It was a pleasant stay for the following reasons: Room was warm (so very important when outside temperatures are something like -20C or -25C), clean and spacious apart from toilette which was small. Service was satisfactory but some basic Chinese words are needed to be known by the customer in order to communicate (English language is not their strong point... More

After staying at the hotel for two nights in January I was a little surprised to read the bad reviews - we had a rather flawless stay and experienced good and friendly service from room service, concierge, front desk and breakfast staff. Rather large and clean room on floor 14 with city view. Might be a little bit pricey however,... More

I am truly surprised by the negative reviews here. My company is based in the US. Every few months an employee or two travels to Harbin to negotiate business with some of our suppliers in the city. I have been three times now to this hotel and all three stays have been pretty flawless in all areas! Very enjoyable hotel... More

This place was really bad for a 5 star... in fact it was bad if it was a 2 star. Poor service - almost no english speaking staff. I asked for a taxi to be booked and one person told me they couldn't because it was cold. I was forced to walk the streets in -20 degrees. Rooms really tired... More

Stayed here bec it was near the offices of clients. Fairly easy access to major attractions. Quiet. But for the price, one would expect certain standard in amenities but this area disappoints. Generally ok if u r not fussy n want ease of access. Will switch to another hotel if a better alternative can be found.

Might run into language problems here. The location is excellent, in the center of the city, with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. There is coffee in your room, but it will be instant (instant all over China even in 5 star) Breakfast is okay. French toast is available, eggs, omelets, real danish pastries, an expansive assortment of Chinese dishes... More

The fact that there are not many reviews in English speaks volumes. The main problem with this hotel is that it simply cannot compete with its international standard rivals. If this is all a Chinese style hotel can hope to achieve with a five star rating then the international brands will have nothing to worry about for many years to... More

My husband and I stayed there for four nights. Our son is a guest lecturer at Harbin Insitute of Technology in Harbin and HIT owns the hotel. We stayed there because of the location in relation to our son's residence and not because of the amenities or the location of the hotel itself. While the staff was extremely pleasant and... More

This is one of the newer hotels in Harbin. Great staff with front desk that speaks English. Great location next to shopping and lots of restaurants. (For a good Western/Russian meal, try Portmans one block away.) Clean and comfortable room. (Some stains on rug, no big deal) Good Western/Chinese breakfast buffet. Paid $85 U.S. a night for 2 room suite.
