There is a lack of big signage for this hotel so you may not notice where the entrance is. You will see a Starbucks on the ground floor. Head to the left of the Starbucks or through the Starbucks and go up the elevators to the lobby (I forgot what floor). I was greeted by friendly staff members. You must take another set of elevators up to your rooms, accessed only with your room card which made it feel very secure.
The room was very comfortable as was the bed and pillows. The slippers were plastic and hard and a bit too small for my feet which made them uncomfortable to walk in. The shower was a bit small and water might leak out if you're not careful where you're aiming the showerhead.
We were surprised to hear the hotel provided free supper every night after 9pm. The night we went they had noodles where you gathered your vegetables into a bowl, picked your noodles, and gave it to the chef to boil. Then you add sauces. The only meat ingredient was meatballs I believe.
One of the small issues I had was the room's door did not open very wide which was inconvenient if you have large suitcases.

The lobby entrance of the first floor of the hotel faces Huaqiang North Commercial Street. The entrance of Starbucks is near the side entrance of the hotel from the subway station. Thanks for your suggestion, the hotel will add a large sign. As for the slippers you mentioned, the standard environmental slippers in the room are the same size, if you think the size is too small, you can contact us to provide you with extra large size slippers. In addition, the colleagues of the engineering department will conduct a full self-inspection of the water pressure you mentioned. If you have any problems during your stay in the store, please contact the hotel reception at any time. We will solve your concerns for you as soon as possible.

The reception desk people are very courteous, helpful. Alina, in front desk was especially very helpful to go out of the way to arrange some courier and even followed up delivery even after my checkout.
Hotel was kind enough to extend late check out upto 3 pm.
The tea lounge on 33rd floor is nice for meeti ngs. They charge about RMB 500 for couple of hours for about 4 or 5 persons
Breakfast apparently does not have eggless bread which the hotel should reconsider to have eggless option for vegan.
The higher floor city facing rooms have a large and beautiful view of skyscrapers. I was staying on 32nd floor and that was great

We had a great stay for 15 nights at this hotel. It was clean and comfortable. The location is extremely central in the Huaqiangbei area - the electronics markets are right across the road. There is a metro station right out front. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. A particular stand out was Alyona at the front desk. She is fluent in multiple languages and is an absolute asset to this hotel. The entire team made our visit memorable. We will stay again and can highly recommend this hotel.

I absolutely loved my stay at Huaqiang Plaza! It is in an excellent location between Bao'an (airport) and the fabulous Luohu district. It is also close to central Shenzhen. There is heaps of shopping and dining in the local area - even a Walmart. The views from my room overlooking the city were amazing. The rooms were lovely and clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet each day was enormous with so much to choose from. The views from the dining room on Level 23 were a great way to start the day. Staff were friendly, attentive and obliging. Much to my amazement, laundry facilities were provided free of charge. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this property and would not hesitate to recommend it to anybody.

Enjoyed a great stay here. Hotel very clean and quiet, with spacious and comfortable rooms. Staff on reception were very helpful. Didn’t eat lunch or dinner in the hotel so can’t review, but breakfast included regional and western food, all very good. Great location, with a Starbucks underneath the hotel, the electronics market across the road and right beside a metro station. Would definitely stay here again.

The location of the hotel is very prime, surrounded by malls that house Chanel, LV, and Hermes. Also, electronics wholesales and retailers are across and next to the hotel building. One needs to buy extra luggage to stay in this place, the shopping experience is amazing.

I stayed here for 3 nights in April, the location is great if you are there to visit the Wholesale Markets and look for Electronics. It is literally right next to them.
The Hotel was clean and quiet despite all the construction happening in the area you couldn't hear any of it. It is clean and the staff all spoke English (mostly all) The rooms are nice and the view is great. The only thing is at night the area is dead. You have to be over at Dong Meng if you want activity and other tourists.
I am going back in September and plan on booking this Hotel again.
