Nice hostel with lovely simple rooms and big windows (dorms and double rooms). Free wifi. Quiet / laid back vibe, good for all ages, lots of Chinese nationals and a few westerners. In the green zone so hostel is surrounded by mature trees, giving it a peaceful feel. Lots of trendy cafes & restaurants in the surrounding OCT loft area.... More

What a little gem! This hostel is tucked away in the middle of the OCT. The double room had a balcony, a big private bathroom and aircon. This simple clean hostel is easy to access in Shenzhen. Downstairs hag a great open area and common space. The room rate includes free WiFi. Just rmb240.

Dorms are male/female only, no mixed. Stayed in dorms one night. Bed fine, only three people to a room which was nice. Stayed in private double with my bf the next two nights. Fine room, lots of space, private bathroom. Location is odd... In the foreign born neighborhood, so everything is really fancy and kind of feels fake and everything... More

Stayed overnight in this delightful youth hostel. Excellent value for money and situated in the fabulous area of the 'Loft' in OCT. Rooms are basic but clean. Nice cosy relaxing communal areas downstairs. Also located near a lovely green local park.

The hotel was clean, hot water, good service and very accommodating when our flight was delayed past their regular hours. Services like lockers and baggage storage at a reasonable fee. The area around the hostel has great restaurants, a Starbucks and an awesome pizza/craft beer place (called the Dark Horse). Subway stop a 7-minute walk and 50 minutes from the... More

It is pleasant but if you are tired from travel very hard to find the first time, easy the second time....Get off the bus or MTR near the huge KONKA sign for KONKA business, and then ten minutes back from the main road....better look at a map first if possible...!

The Shenzhen Loft youth hostel is the best hostel I have ever been to in China! One of the best hostels even compared to many in Europe, and North America. Location: It was just minutes from the Qiao Cheng Dong metro station by a brisk walk through the artistic OCT creative district. By metro, I was able to get to... More

Stayed at the Loft when I first moved to Shenzhen in March. The positives: 1. Cool location to explore OCT loft, but then again, you pretty much see everything in half a day 2. Ok price The negatives: 1. The 4 bed dorm felt and looked like a hospital room, not cozy, if 4 people had big suitcases there would... More

I do not understand how it is on the top choice of Shenzhen hostels? staff is very rude. rooms were not clean, I asked to change a room and got rejected. no hair-dryer, I had to pay 100RMB for deposit and only allow to use it for one hour, and was told if I don't return within an hour, I... More

Staying at several YHA hostels, this is one of the worst, if there could be any better hostels in YHA network. Staff are cold and unhelpful, vibe doesn't exist, the place has a pretty big communal lounge but it's totally a waste. Room is basic, bed sheets cramp and bathroom very dirty. The tight face of the staff is a... More
