Mogo Hotel is in a very central location in the charming colonial district on Gulangyu, a short stroll to the busy tourist belts with the huge selection of foods and shopping. It's worth noting that it's no longer near the main harbour for "visitors" (i.e. non-Fujian residents), which has been moved 10mins' walk further up the coast. So be prepared...

The booking system was troublesome. I needed to call the hotel via distance call for booking. I stayed in Room 406. The room was clean and tidy on the first sight. As the windows were not closed, we found flies flied into the room. Breakfast on the next day was poor. I suggested having breakfast in the cafe around, the...

Very close to pier. View is okay. Close to restaurant, eg. KFC, McDonald's, some local...... Quite noisy before 21pm(because too close to pier), can't book via Paypal/Master/Visa/AE, horrible with 1/F(the shop was closed, and painting)...... Average with budget.

The Mogo is in an excellent location, only five minutes from the ferry. The style is quite innovative and the price for a room (RMB 400) in line with other hotesl in the area. However, the room was quite damp and dark, there is only a very small window that looks out onto a corridor so we had to draw...
