We stayed here two nights each on either side our of trip to TdP. The property is nice and the staff very friendly. It's run by women and you get the feel that you're in a compound but not in a bad way. The rooms are very sparse but have everything you need. Our first two nights were good but...

I am not sure if this review will make it on TripAdvisor, because my flights were cancelled on the way down to Chile from the USA, but I want to make sure to acknowledge the incredible customer service I received from Daniella and Juanita at Hotel Ilaia in Punta Arenas. They were both so very accommodating of my situation. This...

Ilaia is the kind of hotel that my family and I like to stay at. It's cosy and intimate and has great atmosphere. We stayed in a room for three. The room was spacious and had large windows for ventilation. The ensuite bath was great, although the shower head would have been very close to the head of someone taller...

I travel for business and stay at hotels all over the world. It was so nice to take a break from the big hotel chains and stay at a hotel that was so beautifully designed and warm and welcoming. We stayed here for two nights before boarding a cruise. We loved our room. It was warm, spacious and functional with...

The only bad thing about Ilaia was that we only stayed there one night:-) The staff and owner are extremely friendly and helped us with solving an issue with a lost item and gave us some mental support as we were very stressed and emotional. Also the view from the rooftop terrace is amazing and the breakfast was different but...

I am a solo traveler and stayed at Ilaia one night before going to Torres dry Paine. I wish I had stayed longer. Bright, artistic, and airy decor. Warm and welcoming staff - excellent service. Small but comfortable room with a great bathroom. Great breakfast, charmingly served. Go up the stairs to find the media center. Keep going up the...

We spent two nights at Ilaia before heading to Puerto Natales/Torres del Paine. It was lovely, comfortable, quiet, and very clean. The sitting room at the top is the perfect place to relax after a day of sightseeing. Very peaceful! The owners were both extremely helpful. They made the arrangements for us to take the boat tour to see the...

Staff is very friendly and helpful, helped a lot with tips for our visit at Torres Del Paine (thanks, Cecilia!) Great breakfast for vegetarians! Comfortable, well decorated, wooden building. Situated 10 min by foot from center, and 10 min from the Mirador (view point) above the city. No TV in rooms, but who cares...?

In Denmark, the word "hygge" is used to describe the concept of coziness created when enjoying the company of friends, family, or sipping tea by the fireplace. Hotel Ilaia is the epitome of cozy togetherness in Chile! We booked the triple room for 2 nights as we prepared to embark on adventures in Torres del Paine. It was the perfect...

Hotel Ilaia is unlike any place I have ever stayed. It's not like going to a normal hotel or even a bed and breakfast- it feels like you are returning home for the holidays. Everyone is so friendly, especially the owner and her family. They make you feel instantly at home. The staff gave us maps and recommendations for touring...
