¡¡Inolvidables momentos.!!..ibamos por dos dias y era imposible retirar se , los carretes vividos en el hostelling ,con Roberto el dueño , muy simpatico y entretenido , las largas noches de tertulia hacian del panorama continuar disfrutando , especialmente los ricos asados al aire libre ,con bastante atmosfera ..el personal muy capacitado , hablan varios idiomas,mas aun prestan servicios que no se encuentran en cualquier lugar ,las hicimos todas , desde el parapente que es adrenalina pura, nos lanzamos desde el Morro de arica , como las aventuras en buceo , surf , y para descargar la energia acumulada ,junto Roberto , fuimos a una verdadera gerrilla de Paint Ball , es un relajado albergue, porque a cualquier hora , podiamos tomar un verdadero desayuno ,para despues continuar con las competencias de ping pong ...muy entretenido . y en las noches de relajo muy buenas peliculas desde la hamaca ..¡¡.amigos un buen lugar para disfrutar!!! lejos Roberto... lo mejor !!! del Hostelling International Doña Ines en Arica-Chile ...y tengo muchisimas experiencia en viajes , pero aqui las vivi todas te lo recomiendo!!!....

This is an excelent hostal. I have visited this place twice (once in the summertime and once in winter) and I must say that it was a very nice experience with much action, with a "chef" formidable whom with his "asados" made my life more easy. I can highly recommend Hostelling International Doña Ines to everyone who travel to Arica (in the northern part of Chile close to the borders of Peru, Bolivia and Argentine) and with plans to travel further on, for example northwards to Peru, Ecuador or those countries ... or traveling eastwards in the direction of Argentina or south to Patagonia. You can do surfing, "parapente" or air-gliding(if you prefer to straighten up you adrenaline), or perhaps in the evening playing some pool or pingpong, having something to drink or just to "charlar" with good friends. As being from Sweden I can highly recommand the really international knowledge that Roberto, who rules the place, has and which make it much easier to communicate knowing that he has enough skill and cultural competence to follow you in almost every discussion worth the name. And - the beds are really comfortable (and so are the women!!jeejejejeeje ... no, this last thing was a joke) with rooms enough big to give you some privacy. Staying at the place of Doña Inés guarantee a comfortable rest in the daytime and very much life and fiesta in the nighttime because ... the nighttime is the right time for ... miauuuuu .... and the cat there, Nino, who serves as the right hand of Roberto is well worth while meeting. Nino has his own peculiar way of mirroring the world ... sometimes thinking he is a dog (freely interpreted by his papito Roberto).

Честно говоря, не ожидали такого радушного приема. С первых минут мы почувствовали, что это именно то место, где стоит отсановиться. Родриро очень гостепримный хозяин, рассказал все об арике и дал нам карту с указанием интересных мест. К сожалению, у нас была всего одна ночь перед отъездом в Перу. Мы заплатили всего 33USD за 2-х местный номер с завтраком, горячей водой, чистыми полотенцами и постельным бельем. В непосредственной близости от отеля супермаркет, 10 минут пешком, автобусная станция в 10 минут езды на такси и центр города в 15 минутах на такси. В этом отеле останавливаются очень интересные люди.

I stayed here for a single night before heading down to la Serena! The hostel was pretty good!
First off we got a free upgrade and a discount from the guys as the place had been double booked, happy days! The staff there were pretty good to be honest! Especially the ozzy manager!
We were asked if we wanted to partake in the BBQ which was going to cost very littte! After taking a quick shower we headed downstairs where to guys informed us to get ourselves some beers from the shop as the BBQ was now free! They even put free booze on the bar for us to help ourselves! It was actually really well organised and not the carnage you might expect! A good night had by all and the food was nice!
The facilities were decent and free pool!
Only down turn was that the rooms could have been a touch cleaner!

Es ist das vierte Mal, dass ich mit meinen meinem Mann bein Hostelling waren und wir finden es ausgezeichnet, die Zimmer sind sehr komfortabel und alles ist sehr sauber. sehr empfehlenswert.Roberto ist ein toller Gastgeber und spricht mehrere Sprachen.

We stayed 3 nights here, the owner was a nice guy but he didn’t change his clothes for the three days. When we wanted him he was always in his room and never around.
The cleanliness of the hostel was none existent, we witnessed new guests coming in and the beds not getting changed from previous guests. The kitchen was covered in flies and downstairs needed a good clean. I’d think it used to be an amazing hostel reading all the older reviews... I wonder what happened.
The bedroom en-suite had hair in the sink and shower and was still there when checking out, doesn’t surprise us seeing the new guest sleeping on the last occupants dirty sheets!
We would of moved hostels if we knew about the sheets!

Dette er et koselig hostel. De som jobber her gir deg masse informasjon om byen og setter seg gjerne ned og slår av en prat. Ved ankomst tilbyr de deg en velkomst drink. Det finnes en grill i felles området om du ikke har lyst til å spise ute hver dag. De har også noen sykler som de låner ut til deg gratis, noe som er ganske sweet! Absolutt et hostel jeg vil anbefale :)
