This is the place for me. I 1st stayed a few years ago & really liked it. It is still the same. Great modern property, a super staff is comfortable talking with guests - which is somewhat unusual in Southeast Asia! Clean, cool rooms with a great size in-room safe - The breakfast included buffet is excellent. This is a... More

There is really only one reason to visit Siem Reap - Angkor Wat and the other magnificent temples. The town is packed with tourists - backpackers, tour parties etc and as such there are hundreds of hotels and guest houses. The Tara Angkor isn't the height of luxury and isn't a dosshouse. It's a perfectly fine hotel to use as... More

Arriving at the hotel and given a room that had a strong musty smell , I immediately requested a room change Which was met , but alas it wasn't quite the room we wanted as it was an adjoining room . So another room was requested which more or less met with our satisfaction. Anyway the next day the duty... More

TARA ANGKOR HOTEL: When you arrive at the hotel you'll be met by the host with complimentary drinks and hand wipes. She may take you for a short tour of the hotel, she did with me and my wife. The lobby area is beautifully laid out and the staff are very polite and professional. The rooms are lovely with a... More

What a place! Hotel is wonderful with spacious rooms in beautiful surroundings. The staff were eager to please and extremely helpful answering all of our questions, arranging tuktuks to go into centre of town and anywhere else we wanted to go. The hotel was a five minute ride in a tuktuk to the centre of town and was very cheap.... More

We stayed here and were very pleased with it. A couple of small problems, however. We had asked for 2 beds and were given just a single bed. No problem, they fixed that. But the next room had that annoying smell of tobacco in it, so we had to change yet again, Breakfast was adequate if uninspired whereas the dinner... More

We stayed four nights and had a good and comfortable stay. Everything was to our satisfaction. The staff is very friendly and attentive. A quality we have become accustomed to in SEA an will be missing back in Europe. The breakfast buffet has a broad selection in good quality; maybe a bit too Western for my taste. Good spacious rooms,... More

Stayed here for 4 nights as part of our 3 week honeymoon round Asia. The hotel is very average. Check in was fine with a complimentary scarf and drink but the bell boy dealing with us was incredibly subservient and we ended up feeling really uncomfortable. He constantly bowed his head which we are well aware is a customary greeting... More

Stayed at this hotel for three nights as part of a tour of Vietnam and Cambodia. It has extremely nice rooms, great service, and a very convenient location. It is a short tuk-tuk ride to downtown, where there are many restaurants, bars, and the market.
