I travelled from the UK to meet my daughter who lives in HK then we took our flight to Siem Reap Together and stayed at the Saem Siem Reap Hotel for 7 nights.

The hotel was situated 10 minutes Tuk Tuk ride from the main town centre. We liked the fact we had a little jaunt to the centre each time. The hotel catered for western ‘tastes’ & was very clean. We witnessed lots of ‘deep cleaning’ going on through the week. (I’m a clean freak so this was important to me). The pool is small but adequate and very warm the sun rises on it from mid morning and stays all day until late afternoon. There were loungers for all the guests nobody seemed to fight over beds!
We ate at the restaurant twice and had breakfast each day which was included in our stay. Breakfast was buffet style and catered for all nationalities taste buds. Coffee machine and an urn of tea was available too.
The evening meals were of good standard offering local cruise and western food.

Our room was air conditioned and very clean - room service each day and water bottles replaced. There was a mini bar (not free) and tissues, toiletries and fresh towels each day.

The staff were amazingly friendly and every time we passed a member of the staff they greeted you with a warm smile. Sometimes on our arrival back to hotel after an evening out the staff would line up at the entrance and smile and say “welcome back have you had a nice time”?

I would strongly recommend this hotel to couples and couples of “an age”. My daughter said it was full of older couples which was true. We saw one young couple during our stay.

All in all:
Very clean.
Good location.
Good standards.
Friendly & helpful staff.
Very good value.
Modern and authentic deco.
Quiet and relaxing ( unless there is a resident funeral taking place).

We stayed here for 4 nights while we looked at (seemingly) hundreds of temples! What I found really nice was that, although the rooms and dining room are air conditioned, the rest isn't so you're not icy cold until you go out. It has lots of exotic plants round the swimming pool that are very tall and its built so it's cool so its reasonably cool to sit and have a drink or whatever. The rooms themselves are well appointed with a bath as well as a shower and most have a balcony. The food is very good. I have a lot of food intolerances so I had ideas of living on rice for 4 days but there are all types of food available from local delicacies to fish and chips and Italian! The staff are very helpful and always smiling. It r ewe ally is a good hotel to stay!

Wow

This hotel was a great experience from beginning to end. I couldn’t recommend it more highly!

We arrived at the airport (unexpectedly pretty) and were met by our driver from the hotel—sweet, enthusiastic Pierre—who was eager to tell us about Siem Reap and the area around our hotel.

Upon entering the hotel we were given a delicious drink and soothing cold towels (it was pretty warm out!) and met Neht, one of the outstanding hotel concierges. (Neht was beyond sweet, constantly smiling, and made us not only feel welcome but even more excited about our stay there).

Neht escorted us to our large room—one that they had upgraded us to without our even asking!—beautifully appointed, clean, with state of the art amenities, and a lovely porch that gave us a view of the lush neighborhood.

After a great night’s sleep we were able to enjoy their garden/pool view breakfast—all the while meeting more staff that was so friendly and accomodating.  Rachnee, one of the staff supervisors, handled many of our tuk tuk excursions to town as well as arranging our airport departure journey—and she was so helpful and beyond pleasant. They were able to  round a tuk-tuk up in a moment’s notice.

As this review might show, the staff here really made an impression—their upbeat manner and affable personalities really generated contagious good feeling (and their proficiency with English helped us really form some lovely connections.)

Needless to say our experience was top-notch—from listening to the morning music emanating from the neighboring community—to the most relaxing evening slumbers with only the night birds calling—this place is a must for a stay in Siem Reap!!

This was my first adventure going solo. The hotel provided a driver to pick me up from the airport. He gave me a cold water and cold wet cloth soaked in lemon grass. Upon arrival, I was given a welcoming drink and another cold cloth. My room was very comfortable, pool view, and there was a welcoming plate of fruit. The breakfast buffet had many options and the staff was helpful in arranging tuk tuks and my departure. I enjoyed my stay and hope others will choose the Saem Siemreap.

We arrived to the most amazing welcome by Neat! She was so friendly and enthusiastic and gave us a thorough tour of our room and explained the facilities the hotel had to offer in great detail. Her laugh was infectious and it was a true pleasure to meet her. She is a true credit to your Team!

The hotel itself was an oasis of calm and tranquility and the room itself was very comfortable. We had a lovely stay here.

The Concierge staff were very helpful and organised Tuk Tuk's and a trip to Kampong Pleuk very quickly and efficiently.

A truly magnificent experience. Thank you.

My and my husband stayed at this hotel for 11nights as a small relaxing wacation.
We felt welcomed by the hotel at arrival.
We experienced excellent service by staff.
The hotel can arrange driver/car/guide for diffrent tours at reasonable price, and it is a pluss that it can be payed by card at checkout.
The hotelroom was clean and quiet/tranquil and had a good wifi in room.
Saltwater pool (not to salty)
The gymequipment was not really working.
TukTuk's available at hotel.
Not to far to walk to downtown/old market.
I would recomend this hotel, and we had a lovely stay.

Highly, highly recommend. Have not stayed at a hotel this attentive and caring before. They really value the small touches, bringing us scented towels and pineapple fruit juice when we first arrived, showing us around the facilities while listing the hours, and welcoming us to come to them with any questions about the city. On our last morning they even called our room to check if we still wanted breakfast, since we were running late and they hadn’t seen us come down yet.
The staff was definitely the highlight for me since they are so friendly and attentive, but the amenities are awesome too. We unfortunately didn’t have time to go in the pool during our short stay, but we did relax by the side one evening. The hotel keeps a tuk tuk on standby outside the gate, and the cost is established by the hotel staff at $3. Will definitely be visiting the on-site bar next time we come, and I’m looking forward to enjoying their breakfast again; I especially enjoyed the delicious sausage fried rice on this visit.
The rooms are very clean and large, and the balcony overlooking the pool was fun to sit on. Will definitely be staying here again when we come to Siem Reap again!

Had a nice stay here for 3 nights. The rooms are comfortable and have everything you need. Breakfast is good also. The staff are very friendly and was really easy to book a tuk tuk straight away through concierge to get to nearby areas. The view in room 222 was “pool view” though due to trees I couldn’t see the pool. But having said that it is a nice private pool area

This boutique Hotel really surprised me and exceeded my expectations. As soon as we arrived at the airport, Thann was there to greet us, gave us nice cold lemongrass towels and took us to the hotel which was only about a 10-15 min drive.

The Hotel immediately greeted us with cold drinks and welcomed us. They brought our luggage to the room and organized our tours to see the temples. They made all the arrangements for us.

The room was spacious and bigger than I thought - two bedrooms, a living a room, two bathrooms, and two showers. We stayed at the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore prior to our visit to Cambodia, but our kids liked this hotel better because they got their own beds and bathroom.

Thaan immediate took us on a tour to see the temples, gave us tips on what to see, etc. he was one of the nicest human beings I have ever met. He learned English watching You Tube and James Bond movies. He was so pleasant and carrying that he felt like the brother I never had.

After seeing the temples during the day, we got back to the hotel, rested a bit, had lunch at the hotel, then visited the Night Market by Tuk Tuk. The hotel arranges everything which makes it easier for a bunch American tourist traveling with kids who don't know the language.

The next morning, we went out to se the Temples again. We came back and got massages which cost $20 USD. We got massages each day. Food was reasonably priced. We at breakfast and lunch at the hotel to be safe and convenient.

A bad thing happened. We planned on going to Vietnam after our trip, but were denied entry due to a typo on our visa, so after check out, we had to return to the hotel. The hotel was shocked as to why we came back, but were so welcoming understanding the stress we endured and immediately got us another room. We were under so much stress, but they made us feel welcome back and comfortable. We're kind of glad we got to spend another night in Cambodia.

I can't thank you enough for the amazing staff and wonderful experience. I would recommend everyone to stay at this hidden gem of a hotel.

We stayed 3 nights at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. Their great service started when we were picked up at the airport by Phanit. All staff was extremely attentive, helpful and friendly. The property was in excellent shape, we were given fruit and a welcome drink which I thought was a nice touch. Check in was a breeze and the room was large and comfortable with a shower and separate bathroom with tub. Everything was clean and in working order. We ate at the hotel restaurant for lunch and once for dinner. The food was tasty and very affordable. We also attended the breakfast buffet which had plenty of western and Asian food choices along with fresh fruit, waffles, and an omelette station. The pool was also very nice and refreshing in the Cambodian Heat. We would definitely stay here again. One suggestion is to include Khmer Cuisine in the restaurant menu. Still 5 stars though!
