I recently stayed for 3 nights at Maison 557. I was offered a complimentary upgrade to a deluxe room, which is appreciated. Whilst the shower is outdoors on the deluxe room, it is at the back of the room, and is entirely enclosed by a wall, so privacy is maintained. The room is of a good size and the air conditioning is effective. A kettle is provided in the room. There is good, fast wifi. Any staff I spoke to were proficient in English. There is a good choice for breakfast, and breakfast is filling. Staff from the adjoining restaurant are happy to bring drinks to your room to enjoy at your outdoor seating/table. There is security overnight at the property. The staff are very helpful - A minor issue with the lock on my door was easily fixed within 15/20 minutes, and they were also happy to organise a tuk-tuk driver for me. Overall, a very good experience and I'd gladly stay again. …

A unique and beautiful property with a beautiful pool and three wonderful restaurants. The staff are unbelievably friendly, professional, and courteous. The owner, Gauthier, went above and beyond, and provided me not only recommendations for restaurants and things to do in Siem Reap but also restaurants and hotel recommendations for Phnom Penh. The Mason557 team set the bar high for my first stop in Southeast Asia. I hope the rest of my experiences are as amazing !

We stayed for 4 nights at the Maison 557. This little hotel is located in a great neighbourhood at Wat Bo Road. Our suite was of decent size, but was a little scruffy. The A/C was not great, our private pool was nice. The staff was very friendly, some of them overdid it a little and their service felt outright intrusive. I think they wanted our best, though. The breakfast at the communal pool is prepared freshly and is tasty but better bring some time or tell them in advance what you’d like. The on-premise restaurant looked very nice and had a lot of guests, we did not have the chance to go there. In the end, due to the many very good reviews and the price we had expected a little more than we got, maybe also because of the off-season… For us it was 3,5/5.

The best charming hotel of all. A quiet hotel in the heart of the city of Siem Reip. Very friendly staff. Original room with outdoor shower and views of the pool. Everything very clean. Spectacular breakfast. And very grateful to the owner of the hotel for his advice and hospitality, as well as to the transportation service (tuk-tuk)and the security guard who helped us cross the road every night 🙏🏻🥹❤️. Absoulte delight, quiet, perfectly located with an amazin pool to cool off after visiting the temples. A true oasis in Wat Bo. I loved every second of myntrip there. It was within walking distance of all the restaurants and entertainment in the city. Gauthier and Joanne were amazing hosts. Will come back again for sure.

Friendly obliging staff. Owner and manager speak English. Small boutique hotel of 8 rooms. Good location on Wat Bo Rd and close to many great restaurants and bars. Cosy atmosphere. Beds comfortable. Good aircon. Great daily room service. Good restaurant. Great value for money.

We definitely enjoyed our stay in Maison 557. Everything came almost like surprises for us. The location is perfect, right in the centre but not noisy. The room, pool and whole enrionvment was beautiful and enjoyable. Everyday we look forward to come back and relax there after an exausting day. The restaurant outside of the hotel is surprising. It caters people with different preferences. Every staff were very welcoming and made everything felt like home. We very much miss this place :)

Lovely hotel, huge rooms and nice staff. They arranged a Tuktuk Phally as well as shared us a little book that wxplains the nicest restaurants and bars around, lovely! Also the TukTuk driver was also so kins that he drove us to see Angkor Wat next day.
