Stayed for 4 days (March end) at the Suite with Private Pool of Maison 557. The pool was a respite after full day temple hopping around and across Siem Reap. Maison 557, a boutique property is like a gardened oasis in the Wat Bo locality. So the best part is its location and proximity to all the happening places around Siem Reap. It is just a 8-9 mins walk from Pub Street. The staff are courteous, amiable and professional. A shoutout to Gauthier, Joan and team for being perfect hosts and how can I forget Austin, the welcoming and friendly pug at the property whom you can hardly blame for occasionally taking a dip in your pool in the Siem Reap's sweltering heat. Maison 557 ticked all the boxes from cleanliness to comfort. The suite is spacious, perfectly air conditioned and the wifi is pretty good. Overall had a wonderful time and the suite with pool is highly recommended.

We could not have been happier with our stay at Maison 557. It is clean, spacious and comfortable. Extras such as clean water, fruit, mosquito repellents are all provided. It is in a handy location being about a five to ten minute walk from the main part of town. It is handy to a supermarket, cafes and restaurants. The management and staff are very helpful and friendly. They will go out of their way to make your stay pleasant and memorable. A special mention for Mr Sna, our tuk tuk driver who operates from Maison 557 - we found him safe, reliable, friendly and reasonably priced. We thoroughly enjoyed our visits to the temples with him. We fully enjoyed our visit to Siem Reap due, in no small part, to our choice of accommodation. Highly recommended.

We (2 adults, 2 children) stayed at Maison 557 late February and everything was just perfect from the first to the last minute.
Gauthier, Joan and the whole team are amanzing hosts, making you feel like you're at a friend's home. They provided us with tons of good advices (restaurants, shops...), extra services and even surprises (thank you again!). The rooms are gorgeous and the breakfast (included) is very good. You simply just don't want to leave this wonderful place anymore.
The hotel is located in what is - for us - the best part of Siem Reap (Wat Bo), quiet and close to many quality restaurants (not the packpackers' area full of loudy bars).
We warmly recomment Maison557 for anyone looking for high quality accomodation with truly professional care going beyond the usual hotel service. Families and couples should notably find here the best spot to stay. Looking forward to going there soon !

Maison 557 is in a great location, it's quiet but you can easily walk to any parts of the town likely to interest you. The bungalows are tasteful and comfortable and it is lovely to relax in the pool after a long day visiting temples. Breakfast is excellent and the young couple who run the hotel are helpful, friendly and welcoming. An excellent choice.

Well I am not sure where to start honestly, I stayed 4 nights in Maison 557 and I had an amazing time. The place is beautiful and super cozy. The hosts are exceptional, the food at the restaurant is delicious, the on site staff are extremely sweet.
The rooms are super cute and comfortable and simple at the same time, I had a room next to the pool. Talking about price it’s NOT overpriced and the drinks and wine selection is great ( I am French, and we are picky on drinks 🤭)
I was traveling by myself and I didn’t organize much. The host hooked me up with a kick ass tuktuk driver, not only he was the sweetest but also super attentive to details. (He had a small cooler for my water to stay cold and some fruits already cut for me to enjoy during my visits to the temples, I didn’t feel like having a tour guide but that was not a problem, the tuktuk driver took me around all the temples.) I really recommend grabbing a sandwich for your lunch tho, the food in the temple complex is very so so. You have an amazing classic French bakery just outside of Maison557. I would like to thank The Team of Maison557 for this amazing stay, you guys are rocking it, staying with you was a real pleasure. A mix between home and holidays. Ohhh and I almost forgot Austin (the funniest little dog, asking for cuddles, and coming to chill with you at the pool) I seriously recommend this place ! Merci 🙏

I recently stayed for 3 nights at Maison 557. I was offered a complimentary upgrade to a deluxe room, which is appreciated. Whilst the shower is outdoors on the deluxe room, it is at the back of the room, and is entirely enclosed by a wall, so privacy is maintained. The room is of a good size and the air conditioning is effective. A kettle is provided in the room. There is good, fast wifi.
Any staff I spoke to were proficient in English. There is a good choice for breakfast, and breakfast is filling. Staff from the adjoining restaurant are happy to bring drinks to your room to enjoy at your outdoor seating/table. There is security overnight at the property.
The staff are very helpful - A minor issue with the lock on my door was easily fixed within 15/20 minutes, and they were also happy to organise a tuk-tuk driver for me.
Overall, a very good experience and I'd gladly stay again.

We definitely found our secret spot in Siem Reap, our first experience there and it was perfect. Sublime room, he environment is green, quiet, peaceful, just what we were looking for, for a weekend’ city escape. We used their bicycles and rode around the city, the location of this property allowed us to go anywhere within a few minutes only. Will be back with some friends next time.

We stayed 7 nights at this guest house. Before you read too much into the review. We choose Maison because of its reviews, from that point of view we were slightly disappointed. The location is excellent, and the staffs are friendly and try their best. The attached restaurant is excellent, the rooms are quiet and simply appointed. The reason I was disappointed, Instagram and the website have oversold the property. Firstly, the breakfast has moved from the main restaurant to poolside (i believe), it was very simple, to the point we bought our own pastry to add to our breakfast. Secondly, many websites said that the property has recently been renovated, but we were having trouble with faulty locks. The garden has the potential to be beautiful, but not too much effect has been put into it. In our little outdoor shower courtyard, the plants looks like leftover from the main garden just placed there. It is a well-presented guest house, no more no less, in a great location attached to a great restaurant with friendly helpful staff. At the moment, you are likely to find better accommodations nearby for much similar prices because many are discounting their rates.

at 557 we had 2 very comfortable rooms overlooking the pool, which is open day and night, which was perfect for us as business travellers to be able to swim in the evening after long hot days with seminars and meetings. Nearby are many cafes and restaurants to suit all budgets and tastes; we were also just a few minutes' walk from the riverside. Joan and Gauthier were very friendly and knowledgeable hosts, and we look forward to returning when they have their gourmet restaurant up and running in March

Stayed at Maison 557 with my girlfriend and couldn’t have been happier. The hotel is a charming oasis of peace and quiet, surrounded by greenery, a swimming pool, mango trees and wonderful hosts Joan and Gauthier. We really benefited from their personal recommendations on where to go and what to see and they even went a step ahead to arrange transport for us. We felt welcomed in their home and by the last day almost felt like it was our little wonderful Siem Reap Secret. The rooms are simple yet cosy and charming. The location is excellent next to the old market area and just 15 mins from the temples. All in all the perfect getaway at great value for money. We will be back again soon!

Hi, we offer a couple of options for sunrise. Either we provide a breakfast box which you take with you for your 5am or 5.30am departure (depending on which time of year you visit) or you return post sunrise to enjoy breakfast which begins at 7am.
We have many guests who visit the sunrise, return for breakfast, rest and then return to the temples or a visit again mid morning.
Sunrise is a very busy time at Angkor Wat so the returning strategy is a good one and lets the crowds thin out.
