Apart from a few gym yoga classes over the years I have never done yoga or meditation. My friends were surprised when I booked two weeks at Hariharalaya! However, I wanted somewhere to literally 'retreat' and relax. I got all of that and so much more! I would absolutely recommend Hariharalaya for any level of fitness or knowledge about yoga. The yoga teachers are incredibly knowledgeable, patient and helpful and the vibe of the retreat is very open and relaxed. The fitness classes are fun and within a few days I'd gone from not thinking I would meditate at all (ever!) to feeling very comfortable for 30 minutes. The food is delicious, the grounds are beautiful, the atmosphere is chilled and super friendly. However, there is also lots of space to be alone and read or draw (or sleep!) should you prefer some solo time. I will be recommending this retreat to all my friends and I intend to return. Thank you to the whole team for a truly wonderful experience!

Hariharalaya (HaHaLa) is a wonderful place to get away, absorb nature, and refresh your life priorities and connect with like minded individuals. I planned to spend one week but ended up staying five weeks. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a 'reset' in their lives.

I want to say thank you to all the people that have made my stay at Hariharalaya so magical. I went there, not really knowing what to expect (it was also the first time i was doing a yoga retreat). I had planned to stay 2 weeks, ended up staying 2 months (working remotely from there), and really I would have stayed longer if I didn't have a flight to go back to France. If you are seasoned yoga and meditation practitioner great. If you gave never done any yoga or any meditation. Great. It is for anyone and everyone. This place is infinitely more than a yoga retreat. The lessons, reminders and experience I gain there are invaluable. Thank you again. I will be back.

I can easily say that Hariharalaya is one of the highlights of my 2 years world trip and it's definitely a life-changing experience. You'll learn a lot there about life and yourself, meet creative and inspiring friends from dozens of countries and any age range, and share memorable moments together surrounded by nature in all forms. I highly recommend stay longer than a week to be able to fully explore the village/temple around and take advantage to improve the new habits that you'll start to grow there. Not sure if it's for you? Just give it a try! 😀 In my case I've always loved being close to nature to relax, but I've never tried a digital detox, or yoga, or meditation, or healthy diet, or living in a community before. So I planned to try a week in Hariharalaya to see how it goes... and ended up staying 3 months! Do you work remotely? They recently created digital nomad areas so you can even keep your remote job along with the activities the retreat offer. I highly recommend to anyone who wants a break from the city-life or improve your life-work balance.

I will never have enough place to tell all about my experience in HHL, and never enough words to explain how it works. It's just unbelievable. And i am sure that the best is just for you to come and experiment * * What is for me one of or the best experience in my life in terms of joy, love, teachings, lessons, awarness, fullness, gratitude, body and mind health... and even more ! And of course qualited yoga and meditation practices, food, people... It's a package, a good coktail that make you feel always better than you've been before to come. You take just a moment to give to you what you deserve. It's the place to be curious, to learn and to try without fear, to relax, to improve or accurate yourself in a beautiful environment of nature. In my perspective i really believe that is should be mandatory for everyone once in life. An i am sure at 100% that our world would works in a better way :) Thank you, and i hope to see you soon in this amazing adventure :)
