For $8 a night, two travelers can stay in a huge room with a telly, a bathroom, great wifi reception and two double beds. When bought to the entrance by a driver I instantly thought the Temple Villa would be out of my price range, but after shopping around soon discovered that with the pool and such a decent room...

Perfect place to relax after a full immersion in Angkor Wat.I arrived at 3:30 am with other travellers they find us a temporary accomodation, which was pretty good. The day after I got my own room, nice and clean. The best of this place: the pool and a cold beer just a cherry on the cake. :-)

I enjoyed my stay here! I stayed for a few nights. The food was bad but the vibe was very relaxed. The guys working there were very helpful and I felt very comfortable hanging around the lobby/pool. I would highly recommend this place for backpackers. It's close to town and is good value for money. They have a pool and...

Made a mistake staying here. It was recommended by the manager of a nice hotel I'd stayed at whilst in Phnom Penh....he knew one of the guys who works at the Temple Villa. I went with it for convenience but should have checked first. Room was very spacious and was fairly cheap but I didn't much care for the rather...

The room was great, mostly because it had A/C which is a hot commodity during the hot season in Cambodia. Tuk tuk drivers outside are to be avoided, they overcharge for taking you places you could walk. It's not difficult to walk to the night market from here. The place has a nice pool but it gets very hot so...

We stayed here for one night (12$ for a double room with ac). The room was spacious and mostly clean. As often custom in Southeastasia we left our shoes with the other shoes in front of the entrance. The next morning they were gone. Staff was not helpful or cooperative. Athmospher in the hotel is a definitely less cozy and...

My friends and I ended up at this hotel at 5 in the morning after going to a few other hostels that had already been booked. They said they had space so we have our names and went up. The room was dirty, the walls were black with people's hands touching them. The window was dirty and the bathroom sink...

This place was a good value for the money spent. The room was very affordable at $12 per night. It was very spacious and clean, had a comfortable bed, balcony, and AC. The pool was quite dirty (no water circulation) and was too hot to swim in. The place was close enough to walk to the centre of town and...

I stayed in the double room, which realistically can only be used by a single traveler since it is quite tight, in terms of space. I was solo so no probs. Lots of mosquito, but the staff does a spray thing that takes care of them, however, repellent at night is a must, so pls keep you tubes and lotions...

Friends had stayed here and recommended we come also. The hotel is big, our room was huge, had a funny smell but could tell had been cleaned. We wanted a fan room but as they hadn't any available they gave us the air con. It's fairly noisy with dogs outside and people getting up for sunrise at Angkor wat. The mattress...

“I would not suggest anyone to stay at this hotel. If u look at any budget hotel or backpackers u can find easily at the city center and many type of the budget hotel. But don't u ever stay at this hotel. The room are not safety people can easily enter from the balcony. It is very dirty, under maintenance and horrible hotel.”

“SCAM! I am a backpacker on Month 5 and this is my first bad review. This specifically involves the man who works the desk at night. I arrived at night from the bus stop I hired and paid the tuk tuk driver who suggested and took me to this hostel (should have been a red flag). I paid the tuk tuk and arrived at night and was checked in by the man working the desk at night. When I checked out two days later the man who works at the night was the one who checked me out as well. He told me $29.00. I told him that was not accurate and he said I did not pay the tuk tuk. (The tuk tuk and the hotel are completely separate entities.) I gave him $30.00 and he only would give me $1.00 back refusing to give me the correct amount back. He also refused to give me a receipt for the transaction. I was stuck. He wouldn't give me anymore than $1.00 back and refused a receipt. The next day I went to the day staff and told them my situation. They pulled out my invoice and said that my total bill was actually $24.00 not $29.00. The man working the night desk completely scammed me. Please, trust me and don't stay here. The rooms may be nice but who knows what will happen with the night staff. Also, my friends went to the wrong floor by accident and tried to open the wrong door... And the key worked! They are good people so shut and locked the door but anyone can get into the rooms. Safe travels backpackers - stay away from this place. :)”
