We chose Happy Guest House as we were on a very tight budget and it was the cheapest available to us at the time. We took the bus from Thailand and arrived at the bus station very late at night. They said they would arrange for someone to pick us up, but as the bus was 2 hours behind schedule,... More

We stayed 3nights in a double room with air con and TV. The room is quite small but the place is very quiet. Great staff which provides help and advices for tours, visits, guides... Restaurant is ok and very nice cocktail menu (very cheap too). Location is great too, close to city center and to Angkor. I would recommend to... More

As a backpacker this is all you can wish for, we stayed in a cheap dubble room with fan and private bathroom and it was all clean and good. Also, friendly staff that don't try to rip you off and a swimming pool in the same street for 3 dollars!

This is a great place to stay, rooms are spacious and cleaned everyday. Wi-fi works well, food in the restaurant is good value, compared to other restaurants, and they have lots of information about things to see and do, and how to get to different places. They have lockers for your valuables and their friendly tuktuk drivers also give good... More

Great atmosphere, rooms pretty good (except for the rooms on the ground level next to the computers because of noise at early hour). Friendly staff and always willing to answer any questions and provide services such as tours and bus booking. However the restaurant service is a bit slow and waiters are a bit slopy (forgetting cuttlery..).

Like many other guests, I booked in to Happy G H because of sterling reviews on Tripadvisor. It's not a bad place by any means, the staff are friendly, helpful, fairly knowledgeable (so long as you're purchasing their products and services, which tend to be a bit more expensive than the hostels nearby). We stayed in an $8 fan room... More

We stayed at Happy following a recommendation from some other travellers we met, and I am so glad we listened to them! We showed up early in the morning and were greeted with HUGE smiles and were made to feel very welcome. The room was very comfortable, with our own bathroom and TV for a very good price. There is... The room we had was very nice and clean! The staff was very helpful and some of them were so nice that I will remember them and their friendliness for a long time. The only thing I have to critizise is the fact that we could not leave our room without several people from the staff trying very hard to... More

I spent 2 nights here and I really enjoyed this guesthouse. Staff is very helpful and joyful. Food is good (western and Khmer dishes). Rooms are clean and the environment is peaceful. You can benefit from the swimmining located in another hotel next to the guesthouse for 3$ per person. Well located in Siem Reap close to the river.

We read about this guesthouse in our guide, but resulted to be a disappointment. That said, staff members are very friendly and helpful. However, it seems that rates are double since they appeared in Lonely Planet and we were assigned a tiny bedroom in the back building, with an uncomfortable bed. We didn't have wifi in the room and it... More
