This is my second stay at Happy Guesthouse and as budget places go it's really good. They've got a mix of fan and A/C rooms with prices ranging from $9-$14 per night. There's a decent chill-out area serving food and drinks and they can lay on the usual tour and transport options [there are some solid tuk-tuk drivers operating out... More

Really friendly and helpful staff, good room for what you pay (we didn't opt for AC and were happy), great tuk tuk service - we had the same driver for the Angkor tours and at a good price, and good food. If we're ever back in the region this would definitely be the place to stay.

Great value guest house. Friendly helpful staff. Cool lounge bar area in front of hotel. Lots of travelers hanging out. Restaurant in lounge was fine. Staff helped us book a cooking class. About a $5 tuk tuk ride from airport to guest house. Email the staff to arrange airport pick up. Rooms are modest but adequate. We didn't pay the... More

Stayed 3 nights here. Basic room amenities with fan. Friendly staff and they will try their best to assist you. There's lot of tuk tuk infront of the guesthouse which we can take to go to almost anywhere. From guesthouse to old market area, it will cost $1.50.

We stayed here for 3 nights and we enjoyed it. Affordable price and good food! Our room doesn't have a hot cold shower but its alright since the twin bed is spacious and clean. The location is ideal since its near to almost all attractions including the night market, pub and old market.

It's very dated and very basic but a clean room with air conditioning, fine as a base for going out to explore. The main positive is that for Cambodia, the location is relatively quiet at night so you may actually get some sleep. The level of English amongst most of the staff is extremely basic, which led to problems with... More

Great place to stay in Siem Reap. Stayed for 2 nights to visit the temples before continuing by boat to Battambang (recommended as well with Angkor Express!). I stayed in a single room: clean and quiet. Exactly what you can expect for this price and maybe even more. Aircon, fan, clean bed and clean shower with hot water. Just outside... More
