Jaya House River Park is an amazing place to stay in Siem Reap. Mr. Christian and his staff are tremendously hospitable and they cover every imaginable facet of service with quality and a smile. If you every need anything, they were always there with suggestions and making reservations on our behalf. It's a little away from a lot of the busier parts of Siem Reap so it's very serene and peaceful. Siem Reap is so small that their tuk-tuk's will get you downtown in a minute or a 5-10 min walk.
The hotel also has a great holistic approach of using resources around Siem Reap (e.g. making their own soaps, scents, bug spray - which they will gladly and generously spray you every outing) and employing local folks to help build around Siem Reap. If you're looking at hotels in a similar price range, I would definitely recommend Jaya House as a place to give your support!
The tuk-tuk service is also great and an amazing service to have as part of our stay. They always had a tuk-tuk driver ready to do simple drop-offs as well as dinners (drop you off and they'll be there when you're finished). If you want rent one for a day, they'll gladly take you around for about $30USD a day - you can design your own course or ask for some spots. They gave us a tiny cell phone to call the front desk in case we didn't have a tuk-tuk and needed someone to pick us up. If you're not in a time crunch, it's great to have that as well.

We stayed at Jaya House River Park for 4 nights in August and after a minute, we already did not want to leave.
The hospitality of every staff was exceptional in every way, food and drinks were delicious with wide variety, the room was amazingly well maintained and décor, the daily 60 mins complimentary spa and laundry service was a lifesaver after a long day of exploring, the garden and flowers place to place were nicely maintained and their commitment to both local community and our planet was outstanding.
The moment you arrive, all the staff greets you with a smile and you feel that you are welcomed.
We arrived on our own from Phnom Penh and was greeted with a nice scent of cold towels and refreshing tea upon arrival. Afterwards Chris sat with us and we were given a detailed introduction of the hotel and their commitment to the local community.
We were given a local mobile that we can call the inclusive tuk tuk between town, small card with essential Khmer phrases and he was very helpful to make our trip a memorable one.
We stayed at the Junior Pool Suite, which was very spacious and having our own pool.
Everyday, the room was cleaned and filled with drinks and fresh fruits. The room was very quiet, and we could only hear the birds singing outside.
As we went on a hot, humid season, we had to change our clothes often. The daily laundry service was very helpful, and it was all retuned on a same day, nicely folded or hanged.
After a long day exploring, the complementary spa for both of us every day was a perk. Was able to choose from four courses and we tried all of it and loved every one of it.
The treatment was given in a private room and the spa staff were lovely.
The Jaya Organics, used in the spa and also as in-room amenities were luxurious. Made with local herbs, plants, roots, and flowers contained in recycled glasses, was highly nourishing and rich, we bought some products back home which was packed nicely with bubble wraps.
The room is filled with the scent of their lemongrass oil burner which was refreshing and relaxing.
The breakfast has wide variety of choices and we wanted to try everything.
The restaurant staff will remember your favorite coffee and will recommend dishes depending how long we would be exploring each day.
As we were too tired from our day trips, we ended up having dinner at the Trorkuon Khmer Restaurant every night and everything we had was yummy.
The roof top bar had a nice view with an open sky and green along the river, drinks and snacks were delicious, too.
The tuk tuk drivers were all highly professional as well. We did a day tour of the grand circle, and the driver would recommend where to go and also know the best way to encounter the sites from a secret entrance just for ourselves.
Driving the forest was very cool and refreshing and highly recommend seeing the sceneries.
Jaya House is very committed with 100% single-use plastic-free. I don’t think we have seen any plastic things at the hotel.
We were given a reusable drinking bottles, since we were outside all day mostly, the bottle was surprisingly cool for a long time and refreshing.
There was a note from the hotel in the room that since the establishment, they have planted over 2000, 3m+ tall trees around the area, but also improving public awareness to the local community, why planting trees are important.
The hotel also works with various NGOs and you can see that they are committed to the local community.
Last but not least, the staff were genuinely helpful in every way and absolutely amazing;
they would offer their Jaya Organics’ non-chemical mosquito repellant spray every time we went outside which was very effective, we had some plaster needed incident and they would rush to the store to get for us, my white sneakers were covered with mud and that came back clean in few hours.
I am sure it takes so much behind the scenes effort and so many staff that we did not encounter to make an exceptional luxurious yet comfortable homy place.
I highly recommend to anyone and must say it was one of the best hotels that we ever stayed.
5 Star is not enough for Jaya House River Park, everything was way beyond our expectations and would like to thank everyone for making this trip so memorable and we will definitely go back!

Our third stay at Jaya House River Park proved just as delightful as the others. After several difficult years Chris and his team at this boutique hotel once again display their unique blend of Khmer hospitality. Commencing with a complementary airport pick-up and a seamless checkin the calm intuitive service continues throughout the hotel. The rooms are spacious and well appointed with fresh fruit and flowers daily and a proprietory range of bathroom and skin care products. Laundry service is complementary as is a daily 1 hour Khmer massage. A full range of beauty treatments is available by appointment. Complimentary tuk-tuk rides are available on request to Siem Reap 10 minutes away and markets, shops and other local sights. Tours to the Angkor temples, the floating village and other attractions can booked at reception. There are two refreshing pools, lush tropical gardens and poolside service with complimentary coffee and ice cream. The breakfast is a sumptuous buffet and an la carte menu of western staples and Khmer specialties and it is followed by a similar all-day menu or room service. The roof top bar features a happy hour and live music in the evenings. Since its inception in 2016 Jaya House has aimed to improve the Cambodian environment. It has funded an extensive tree planting program in a country which has undergone extensive deforestation and an intensive effort to eliminate single use plastics in the tourist industry. All guests receive metal water bottles with refill stations throughout the hotel. Jaya House is a perfect launching pad for exploration of Siem Reap or a calm restful retreat to be well pampered for a few days.

As someone who works in the hotel industry, Jaya House River Park exceeded my expectations - the definition of intuitive, heartfelt, seamless luxury hospitality.
I emailed the hotel the night before I was due to arrive, panicking about the visa process - i was assured that everything would be taken care of when I landed, and sure enough, as soon as i disembarked the plane, there was a man waiting with a sign with my name on it, who fast-tracked me through the queue and escalated all my paperwork for no fee. I was then greeted by an immaculately dressed driver who carried my bags to the car, where I was given fresh fruit and coconut water, but most importantly - free wifi in the car!
The hotel in itself is one of a kind, spectacularly designed with a captivating sense of arrival. A true sanctuary in the city - perfect for me to completely decompress as a solo traveller. The team must have known I was exhausted, because on arrival they told me I was booked in for a complimentary massage in an hour.
The rooms are smart, spacious and sophisticated - the most comfortable bed ive ever slept in, with housekeeping multiple times a day bringing fresh fruit and flowers. The team are so attentive and genuinely care. I had to cut a walk short one day because of stomach cramps and they gave me painkillers and water within 10 seconds of arriving back in the hotel entrance.
Jaya House has a calming, warm energy which is hard to describe - I implore anyone who can to visit. Congratulations to the team for making something really specail.

We left Jaya this morning, this was the only negative of our stay…
Before we came to Jaya this Christmas, our expectations were pretty high due to the plentiful amount of 5* reviews!! Let’s just say our expectations were astronomically exceeded!
Starting off with the staff. Each one is always smiling and always proactive, whether a masseuse or one of the friendly waiters. Christian was also very helpful in ensuring we had dinner bookings and took us to some wonderful places - additionally, when we arrived, he sat all six of us down and told us about the story behind the hotel and his impressive career that has allowed him to create such a gem! We never felt as if we were in a fully booked hotel (it was fully booked) - there were always beds by the pool, always space in the restaurant and the staff frequently spoke to us by name! Special mention to Lina who took especially good care of us.
The free tuktuk service is also appreciated. It takes all the stress of getting one and finding one to get back - and of course the awkward haggling. We went to a hotel for dinner on the other side of town (Phum Baitang) which was lovely (££££ though!) and the tuktuk drivers waited for us as they didn’t want us to wait for half an hour for them to get back to pick us up! You also get a cold towel every time you return to the hotel and a warm welcome back.
Now onto the food. We had all breakfasts (bar one) and three lunches in the hotel. It was the best food we had in Siem Reap. The menu is extensive with lots of local and western dishes that are all delicious. Definitely have some dinners there aswell, the atmosphere is really cool and the service amazing!
The rooms were very well designed (see photos). We had two triples - wasn’t two main beds with an uncomfortable z-bed but three big singles. Perfect for families and exceedingly comfortable! The Jaya organics were also really lovely (made by local ladies so be sure to purchase some at the end to help the community). Also, the rooms had lots of complimentary services (laundry, free minibar and massages) which were all welcome and rarely seen in big chain hotels.
The massages were also incredible and such lovely people doing them aswell. It really is a free massage EVERY day. Such an amazing addition and fully welcomed after a busy day exploring temples
The hotel is 100% plastic free which means lovely glass bottles in the room, reusable water bottles, lots of amenities etc. This makes the hotel eco- friendly and feel more lux!
Jaya House is an outstanding hotel with features probably not found anywhere else. Everyone is made to feel at home - we cannot fault it. I really hope we return!
Thank you Jaya team!

After my husband, friends and I decided to go to Siem Reap for the National Day, I quickly booked this hotel. It turned out to be the best decision for this trip. After arriving at the airport, someone from the hotel will pick you up and give you a cooling drink and a cold towel with floral scent. Every time you go out, someone will spray you with floral water to prevent mosquitoes. When you come back, there will be juice and cold towels. Lying by the pool will have ice water and ice cream. Breakfast every day is one of the most anticipated parts for us. The hotel adopts a semi-self-service and semi-ordering method. After a few days, I almost ordered all the dishes on the menu. There are no thunder dishes, all of which are very delicious. We also had dinner one day in the hotel, and I felt that the product was not inferior to melis restaurant. The daily one-hour spa is another most anticipated part. I fell asleep twice. It is a tiring thing to observe the stone statues here. Maybe you will get up at 4 o'clock and return at 6 o'clock. At this time, a proper massage will make people relax. By the way, they will help you wash, iron and hang your dirty clothes every day, and deal with muddy shoes. On the day I left, they forgot to leave the laundry basket at the door. After I called, they quickly took away my laundry and took care of everything before I left. Super! They also offer tours to Angkor Wat for about the same price as booking it yourself. We didn't hear about them after we booked it, but I later looked at other people's bookings and felt that it would be more comfortable than booking it yourself. The entire service team is excellent, and you can feel that they are sincerely operating this boutique hotel with less than 40 rooms. If I come to Angkor Wat again, Jaya will definitely be my first choice. Even if the airfare is right, Jaya is a hotel worth flying to stay in. A very, very comfortable trip! Thanks Jaya!

I had read all of the reviews so I knew it was going to be great. But I was still amazed by the warmth and hospitality we received at Jaya House. You really are home. A couple of their amazing staff really stood out...Krem greeted us everyday at breakfast with a smile and suggested a noodle dish that will live forever in my memory. Anna was at the front desk and graciously helped us with dinner reservations and tuk tuk rides. Here are a couple specific examples of the amazing service. My husbanded asked for a tissue to clean his glasses in the lobby and the receptionist took his glasses, pulled out a kit, and cleaned them herself. Another time our room key became deactivated. The staff sat my husband down, gave him a cappuccino while he waited, and escorted him back to the room to be sure it worked. The complimentary tuk tuk rides are wonderful convenience and the food is excellent. Thank you go Christian, Kris and the entire staff at Jaya House! I will never forget our stay.

Very warm and welcoming greetings by the owner Chris and his team, from the second they came and picked me up to my departure from the premises. Cold towel and fresh water were handed to me the second my feet had touched the ground out of the car and every time I would come back from a tour in the city - along with a nice scented anti-mosquitoes spray. A game changer of how to properly greet your customers.
Upgraded to a Junior Suite with Pool view, I already knew this is an address I will extensively share with my friends and family and most probably mark it in my book of go-to places for another visit to unwind and relax from the hustle and bustle of life.
Chris, the owner, lives up to his reputation by focusing on a customer service catering very high standards and it shows! Bravo! Sean (pronounced Se-Ann) thank you so much for showing me around and assisting me with every little thing! :)
From the elevated decoration to the attention to details, everything is present. Magnificent landscape of the gardens surrounding the pools. The spaces in the rooms are thoughtfully used without being too crowded. The selection of elegant furniture with a little wink to some 80’s objects (rotary phones, boom box radio, etc) strategically placed, your eyes will never get tired of discovering these details.
The Breakfast is generous without being too pompous nor unnecessary waste of foods that we are seeing all the time in 5* hotels. However, the Chef and his team manage to bring some varieties every day and the delicious breads and pastries are freshly baked on a daily basis.
The restaurant and its great team offers a variety of gastronomic dishes satisfying the most demanding customers prepared by the very skilled Chef.
The dedication to sustainability - a matter dear to the owner Chris - is not only applied throughout the hotel with a 95% plastic free policy, but also shared and spread throughout the city of Siem Reap that he cherishes so much. His passion to make a change and improve things for the better is exemplary.
Being a very seasoned traveler and on the road more than half of the year, I have experienced my fair share of 5* and Boutique hotels all over the world and I rarely rate a hotel/ resort with a 10 as it is a combination of many factors. But I can tell in confidence that Jaya House River Park Hotel - Siem Reap deserves its 10 for perfection.

Excellent hotel where we were greeted personally by Christian the owner who offered some good advice about the area. The hotel is very well appointed and has carefully selected decor. We used the Sky Bar each night and also had dinner in the hotel restaurant. Not because we were lazy but we enjoyed the food, ambiance and exemplary staff attention to detail and their customers. The complimentary TukTuk service was much appreciated and the hotel rooms are quiet and peaceful with superb housekeeping. Lovely welcoming staff to boot. Excellent

We have never written a review on Trip Advisor before, but after our stay we felt we needed to share our amazing experience of Jaya House.
The Jaya House hotel provides a unique expression of the local combined with with level of personal service that is often rare to find. This small hotel allows a level of privacy that you will not find in the larger big box hotels.
The wonderful greeting on arrival by Chris and his team made as feel we were family removing all the stress of the journey. We were made to feel at home immediately. The personal service we received from our arrival, to the spa and restaurant was so special.
The hotel itself tells an authentic local story. Lotus flowers displayed in beautiful bottles, vases and traditional bowls all adding to the experience. The courtyard features a beautiful garden resplendent with greenery creating a tranquil oasis for a weary traveler.
The guestrooms were large with an incredible rain shower. The hotel is proud of its commitment to sustainability values and is plastic free. Due to this every guest is given a reusable aluminum water bottle with their stay.
The turn down service was also perfect.
Having the complimentary Tuktuk service to take you anywhere in the town just made you feel so safe. The Jaya House team provides a mobile house phone so you can call for the return trip.
Our stay also included a free laundry service, which for long-distance travelers like ourselves was fantastic. Complimentary coffee and soft drinks, breakfast and spa treatments (1 treatment/day) was also a wonderful surprise, creating incredible value as well.
If you are looking for a local luxury experience we highly recommend you stay with Chris and his team, you will not be disappointed.

Good afternoon
1st of all apologies for slow response on this forum.
We do have about 50% Vegan/plant-based/vegetarian options on our breakfast menu.
I hope this answers your question indeed
Good afternoon from Siem Reap !
Thank you for the interest show and , yes ofcourse, we would LOVE to plant a tree in-your-name anywhere along the banks of the Siem Reap River (public areas)
We have now reached the total of 1500 3m trees planted with many of them much larger ! This has happened in the past 3.5 years.
Pictures on the internet will tell you how the river used to look like and also how it is today. The differences are staggering
