My wife and I travel a bit, to sum up, she mentioned that this is her favorite Hotel ever. There's a lot of different reasons, one of the first things that comes to mind is that we were met at the door by the owner of the hotel. He spent 15 or 20 minutes chatting with this describing their philosophy and an overview of the hotel. To sum that up, we felt like we were being treated as adults. They don't nickel and dime you for the items in the refrigerator, the pool is open 24/7, and a one a day massage spa service is included. They also have a complimentary transportation service of providing a Tuk Tuk small three-wheeled covered Taxi) to Hotel guests. The entire staff do their utmost to provide Stellar customer service in all aspects of the hotel. One particular example stands out in my mind. My wife had a very bad cough for a day or two, and the front desk manager actually went with me to find a pharmacy in order to provide medicinal treatments. Intangible, down to the smallest detail go on and on. I highly recommend anyone traveling to the Siem Reap area consider this hotel.

Hotel's Favourite
It’s been a long time since I felt so impressed by a hotel and that’s after an awful lot of pretty luxurious travel over the years. We arrived to a welcome that started with ‘welcome home’, cool towels, hand san and big smiles. Our bags were whisked away and the GM sat us down with a drink of choice. As we’d been travelling for a few weeks, I instantly got the passports out. Stefan looked at me and asked why they’d need them, coupled with ‘we do things differently here.’ No word of this was a lie. So, where to begin? Food, excellent- fresh, homemade (the homemade bread - one of many highlights), salads delicious and again super fresh and the dressing on the house salad off the scale. Other dishes equally memorable, cooked with love and passion. On a note to the outstanding service a lot of guests do an early start to visit the temples at sunrise. 4am is about it - and is the hotel deserted? No, a smiling team member is waiting to make you a hot, proper coffee or tea, and then another one to go if required. Unbelievable service. Just a note for other Anglophiles - the best cup of tea in Asia, enough said 😄 Staff? Amazing ninja service. Great recommendations for restaurants, always a smile and a cheery greeting and utterly friendly whilst the quality of training in hospitality shone out. We got thanked for choosing Cambodia by one of the young ladies on the team and that really stuck with me. As the GM said, they really want to serve the visitors and are thankful we are there. One particular young man - Ang - was brilliant (not that the others weren’t!) but we took him to heart and nicknamed him London as his English teacher was plainly a North Londoner and his accent shone through in Ang’s excellent English. I felt (as a North Londoner…) right at home. His, like everyone’s, attention to detail and desire to help exceeded our already high expectations. Accommodation is spotless and luxurious. We had a ground floor pool/garden access room with a French door straight out onto the courtyard smaller pool but the larger sun drenched all day pool was just outside the front door… a comfy bed, a large bathroom with shower and bath and just comfort from start to finish contributed to this impeccable hotel. I don’t want to highlight the completely unexpected ‘free’ benefits as standard that the hotel offers because that is to trivialise the underlying superb quality of service that this exceptional hotel offers. However it’s quite literally like a home from home and you couldn’t feel more welcomed or more like you are part of their family than you do. Literally an incredible sensation and the ethos runs from the top right through the team. I wish we had just stopped right there and contemplated our future very slowly. A massive highlight of our long journey through SE Asia and we shall return without a shadow of a doubt.

Hi Hotluca, Wow. Wow. Thank you. Thank you. It's very nice to read a review like this on a busy Monday. We are thrilled that you support and appreciate every single small touch that we do here at Jaya House; from the rooms, restaurant, staff, and the 'free' benefits. No passport needed upon check-in is one of the things that we do differently here. As a guest, when you enter Jaya House, you become a part of our Jaya House family hence it's more important that we sit down, and have a chat over a glass of wine or any drinks of your choice. Thank you for choosing Jaya House and highlighting 'the whys' when choosing a hotel. We appreciate it. We will be waiting for your return to your SE Asia 'home' soon. Best regards, Christian

This hotel and its staff are fantastic. The staff caters to your every need. The rooms are very comfortable and plush. The two hotel pools (one shaded and the other in the sun) are refreshing. The food is very good but it is really the service that makes this such a great place to stay. Upon arrival, the manager sat with me to make sure that all my needs would be taken care of. Although I have travelled alot, I really haven't experienced anything like this before. Five stars are not enough.

Best service at any hotel, anywhere. Everyone was so incredibly nice and helpful -- there with water, cold towel, tea, late checkout, adivide, rides, help with visa, etc. Impeccable rooms and grounds including pools. Excellent massage & breakfast included! I'd highly recommend to anyone if it's in your price range. :)

Very impressive hotel! So many little details were included. Laundry, mini bar, fast WiFi! complimentary tuk tuk rides. A cell phone was provided to call for tuk tuk pickup. An impressive detail for those of us who didn’t get a cell plan when leaving the US. The barista… the croissants! Great location in Siem Reap. A great oasis after a visit to Ankor Wat. The staff were always willing to keep us safe by spraying us with organic, hotel made bug spray.

This is a most extraordinary hotel. The rooms, grounds, and lobby are absolutely beautiful. The best perk is 60 minutes of free spa treatments every single day! All the staff are absolutely lovely and helpful. My room had both an indoor and outdoor shower surrounded by palm trees.

A lush green oasis overlooking the river in Siem Reap. Christian (owner/manager) has his discerning eye on every detail of this wonderful hotel. His warm welcoming charm is coupled with a discretion that leaves you feeling utterly pampered! Rooftop sundowners, lunchtime (authentic) Khmer delicacies on the swing beds and a little dip in the pool after a day of Temples… heaven. 💚💚💚

Good evening from Siem Reap, Thank you very much for the flattering words, but I do believe you give me a little too much credit. As a team we do indeed aim to provide a discreet, pampering & delicate experience and showcase the best of Khmer hospitality. We are helped by our residential location away from all of the noise in between 2 pagoda's and along the river. Either way, I am very happy you have enjoyed Jaya House and we truely hope to be able to welcome you back in the not-too-distant future. Safe travels

A beautiful, peaceful boutique hotel in the heart of Siem Reap. On our arrival we were met personally by Christian, the delightful owner/manager who not only talked us through every aspect of the hotel and its facilities, but also, throughout our stay, made sure that we lacked for nothing and were enjoying our time there. Wonderful food in the restaurant, a great spa (with a complimentary treatment on each day of our stay) and the most friendly, welcoming and helpful staff anyone could wish for. The free laundry service and the hotel’s complimentary hotel Tuk Tuk service for getting to and from local restaurants and other attractions made for a perfect stay in Siem Reap. There was nothing more that we could have wished for. Without doubt the best place to stay in Siem Reap and we look forward to returning there again soon.
