An excellent hotel in Siem Reap. It is well located within a short walk to the markets and Pub Street, but is in a calm and quiet area. The room is large and very comfortable. Breakfast with several western and eastern options. There are scrambled eggs and omelets prepared to order. The pool is great for the end of a hot and tiring day of sightseeing. But the best thing about the hotel is the kindness and attention of the staff. Everyone is very friendly and helps you with whatever you need. When you arrive you always receive cold towels, snacks are delivered to your room daily and 2 complimentary waters.

This hotel is a hidden gem in Siem Reap; only a 5 min walk from the hustle of Pub street but far enough away to feel peaceful. The staff are so attentive and respectful and it’s great to see how they employ young members of staff to help them learn hospitality. We had fresh flowers in our room and often the pool to ourselves: The hotel was kept spotless and the food was amazing, and presented like a Michelin star restaurant. The spa massage was excellent and the information about visiting Angkor wat , with a breakfast picnic was fabulous. Thanks to Tong in the restaurant and Lisa in reception and our housekeeper who made our stay perfect. Stay here you won’t be disappointed!! Thank you 🙏🏼

We stayed at the Golden Temple Retreat in Siem Reap for 4 nights in early December and we loved it. It was reasonably priced and the location was great, 10 minutes walk to pub street and the centre of town.We had a poolside room which was a good size with a large bed, a stone bath and separate shower and it was kept spotlessly clean. The breakfast had a good choice and the spa treatments were good value. What really stood out were the staff who did everything they could to make our stay a good one, especially Sreynat who came to check on my wife every morning when she wasn’t feeling well and even made her fresh ginger, lime and honey tea which was a nice personal touch. We would definitely recommend this hotel

We had an excellent stay in this hotel with a family of 4 adults and 1 child of 8 years occupying 2 double rooms from 10-14 October 2024. Ms. M, the Mareda front office manager received us in the Siem Reap airport in the morning 8.20 AM along with the driver Mr. Soun. The hotel is 1 hour drive from the airport in the city of Siem Reap. The front office staff gave a warm welcome. We took complete rest on the first day except visiting the pub house street in Siem Reap in the evening. The hotel deputed Mr. La Rorn as a tour guide and he was excellent along with the driver Mr. Soun. Mr. La is familiar with almost all the places in Siem Reap and he took us to many temples there during the next 3 days of our stay. The services of both Mr. La Rorn and the driver Mr. Soun were laudable. The front office executives were all the time cordial. The food available in the hotel was fantastic. Mr. Rin, the Restaurant Manager and his colleagues were all highly friendly and served the food we wanted. The food was very tasty with plenty of fruits and vegetables. Of course, the entire team of Golden Temple Retreat were highly courteous and friendly. We all had very pleasant moments with them. GOD bless them all.

We stayed at Golden Temple Retreat for 4 days and it was a wonderful experience! The hotel is really amazing, in the lobby it seems to be almost inside a temple. Further on, in the courtyard, there is a sumptuous swimming pool with small waterfalls along the edges and sun loungers half immersed in the water. Really very relaxing. The room was beautiful, it perfectly blended a modern style with a more particular and typical of the place, as well as being spotless (in the morning the room was cleaned but in the afternoon the cleaner passed the same asking if it was necessary to fix again). The staff was very friendly, meeting all our needs. In particular, the hotel organized a two-day tour of Siem Reap temples and a Khmer-themed cooking class. The two experiences were nothing short of excellent. On the two-day tour we had Tep Nat, an English-speaking Guide who was extremely knowledgeable. It has allowed us to better and accurately know the history of temples and Khmer society. He was really kind, authentic and nice, answering all our questions and needs. He also turned out to be a great photographer! The cooking class was very interesting and fun. Borin, the chef who followed us, took us to the Siem Reap Point of Sale in the morning, explaining the typical ingredients of Khmer culture. At lunchtime the actual lesson began, in which we had the opportunity to participate directly and personally in the preparation of the dishes that we finally ate! It was, finally, very pleasant the typical Khmer dinner with Apsara dancer show on the last night! I highly recommend this hotel as well as the tours it offers!

In general, the staff were very kind. Breakfast was not Reservation due to early morning tour, but can be added locally for $9 per person. It was all very good. As a facility, the pool was comfortable. I recommend the room on the ground floor because you can put it straight into the pool from the room. The water around the room was also clean and clean. It was only a little inconvenient because there was nothing separating the bathroom from the room. The location is very convenient. Angkor Wat is also relatively close and is a Recommendation for those taking the tour.

This hotel superseded our expectations. The rooms were luxurious and the balcony looked on to their beautiful pool area. This hotel is a short walk to pub street so you get the benefit of pub street without the noise. The staff were also really nice. We were given a welcome drink on arrival which was delicious.
However, don’t buy anything from the shop next door they tried to charge us $2.50 for a small can of juice.

The rooms on the ground floor have direct access to the pool. The pool lies in the center of the property. All you have to do is to open the sliding door of your room and the pool is right there.
There are more places to choose from in the Siem Reap area.
