We loved our two night stay at Chobe River Cottages. It was really centrally located, right by a SPAR where you could pick up food. The staff were very friendly and organised for us to go on a day trip to Victoria falls, which was amazing. The air conditioning was wonderful too. Just what we needed!

Although we only needed a bed for the night, this accommodation provides much more for those who may need it. Lots of space, comprehensive kitchen facilities, private outdoor space, swimming pool, option to book a variety of activities. Breakfast and lunch can be taken at the café next door, and there is a superb Indian Restaurant ten minutes walk down the road that serves excellent value for money food all day.

Very nice, clean and spacious cottages, self catering. The neighbouring cottages are quite near, but you still gave a sense if privacy and quiet (unless the neighbours stay up late talking loud 😬). highlight: the connected lookout on the chobe, few meters away. Staff perfect, very happy.

Thank you for your clear and concise review. The cottages are adjacent to each other but the gardens and the net curtains assure privacy. We ask guests to contact us if any of the other guests are too loud, we politely ask them to consider others!

It was a beautiful, calm place with a splendid deck above the river. Children were excited. Very good for families with small children. Staff was polite and efficient. Price was affordable especially for larger families. Beautiful.

We really enjoyed our stay at Chobe River cottages. The 1 bedroom unit was very clean and nice with lots of space for 3 people. The kitchen was well equipped for us to prepare some meals. It had a nice veranda with outdoor sitting overlooking the courtyard. The pool was nice to cool off in on a hot day. There is a deck overlooking the river behind the property where you can watch the sunset. The location is great, its right in town within easy walking distance of the shops, bank and restaurants. KB was very helpful doing our laundry, booking us a boat tour and restaurant for dinner as well as a taxi to the Kazungula border crossing when we left as we were heading to Livingstone. Overall, I highly recommend it.

loved the self catering option, also outside seating area that can be covered with curtains to be protected against the mosquitos would definetly stay here again very helpful staff at reception that helps with bookings for game drives and boat cruises

The cottages are very well equipped and comfortable. Good air conditioning. Pool. Nice viewing deck of Chobe. I would trim the tree to see more of the river. Enjoyed our two trips on Chobe river. Isaac from Chobe safari lodge was very good with us birders. Mojo from Holiday safari & tours was great too. Next door there is a good cafe.

10 of us stayed in 5 cottages. They were excellently furnished with every utensil available. The deck overlooking the Chobe was a lovely place for a sun downer. Trish, the owner recommended Muchenje Camp ground as a birding spot for us. Hayden there welcomed us and gave us good advice on where else to visit. We had a great morning there and their campsites and cottages were secluded in a treed environment. They also referred us to Holiday Africa Safaris for our game drive and boat trip. The boat trip was an experience of a life time. They are a reliable company and we were well looked after. The consensus from our group was we would rather have stayed there than at any hotel. One couple in the next group had a medical issue on route to Kasane. Trish generously refunded them 50% which she was not obliged to do. …

The team at CRC were incredibly helpful and we had everything we needed. With two young children 5 and 7 there was plenty of space in the cottage and lovely green space in the front with beautiful plants. We really appreciated the thoughtful touches e.g., the pot of fresh coffee and the terrace with mosquito net! We loved the pool, though it did get a little crowded at times. The river viewing deck was great and we saw a water monitor (lizard) from there. The Team helped us organise a tour to Vic Falls and a Chobe River Boat Trip and Game Drive - all activities highly recommended! We also visited Karakal wildlife centre which was nice. Only downside was the BBQ/ Brain area at the back of the cottage which needed a little more attention from groundskeepers. Overall a fantastic stay - thanks. …

Chobe River Cottages was a lovely stopover after a camping holiday in The Okavango Delta. The cottages were clean and comfortable and ideally situated in Kasane. The staff were excellent and looked after us very well.
